So I'm just going to open up my house to all of you for the next threee thursdays

Come and craft November 30th, December 7th, and December 14th

I will be out of town the third Thursday the 21st

Come over and get you X-mas/ holiday projects finished or do something ofr yourself

Oh on the 30th we are going to work on sassing up dominos. Bring some dominos to stamp or color. I will have a drill so we can put holes in them to make necklaces or bracelets!!!!!!

This Thursday is Craft Night. The theme is Bring your unfinished projects and finish them!!!!! I know we all have some of these. The fun starts at 6:30pm and remember if you dod't have a project to finish you can always start a new one !

November 2nd is Craft Night

So Craft Night is this Thursday at 6:30pm

I talked to member that was interested in doing a doggie/kitty animal shelter theme. I said OK

I have a few patterns for Dog and cat stuff. like blankies, stockings, coats, leash, bone and fish pillows, and food mats, and pet beds.


As usual the theme is only a suggestion you can come and do whatever you'd like.

 Denver Craftsters is having a coffee Date in hopes to up our members that participate on craft nites, which fall on  the 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month.Our coffee date will take place at the starbucks on 102 and Grant at 7pm. I've made it that late so that nobody should have to rush after work or be in the nasty traffic on I-25.
Everyone is welcome, we also have a group on Myspace, feel free to join.We will discuss our next meetings for November and December and also talk about maybe being in a craft show this holiday!

Hi I wanted to invite everyone to a craft group I run on Myspace http://groups.myspace.com/denvercraftsters

We meet every 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month and also try to meet up one Saturday for big projects


Sometimes we have theme nights and sometimes we have members teach us new crafts

Some of our theme nights have been : Dinosaur, Robots, Pin-Ups, Valentines, and Bugs

Somethings we have had taught are : Accordian books and oragami

Our all day ventures have included T-shrit Reconstruction Day and Papermaking Day in September we are going to try for a Dressmakers form Day!!!!!!

Our group includes ladies and Gents and we're always loking for some new crafters, if you're in joining us please send me a PM if you'd like more information. I look forward to welcoming in new Craftsters

My friends and I have a Craft Night, and a couple weeks ago it was Dinosaur theme. I put and applique of a Megaceros on a T-shirt. A Megaceros is a Prehistoric Elk

I painted the word on with acrylic paints mixed with a little textile medium. The Applique is made from different bits of fabric accented with acrylic paints. I used fusible web to put him on the shirt but then had to hand stich around him to get him to stay on. He's been washed once and is holding up quite well

So I got this pretty cool backpack thingy from one of the drug companies. Only problem, of course it had a great big drug logo on it. No problem I made these cute little Cupcake appliques and covered it right up!
