I received from Ralph! My collections are naughty nurses, bunnies and cherries/strawberries and she crafted for all three of them!

My main item was this wonderful handmade journal, check out the cute paper and the xray pin-up image is just the best thing ever!

I also got this cute cherry charm, yep I'll probably put it on my phone Smiley
And handcarved and dyed chew toys for pet bunnies. Sadly they love 'em and there are only four of them left intact right now!

And some pics of bunnies enjoying the toys:

Thank you for being so thoughtful, I love it all. (Haven't written in the journal yet though, saving it for something special Smiley)

I always save stamps from the mail we get at work, some of them have great crafty potential...glad to hear you like them Smiley

here's pictures of my 3 envelopes, thanks to all of my amazing partners there was a huge variety of things I was so excited going through it all and picking which things I will use first!

from mamasmurf:

I especially loved the bunny diecuts(wow!) and the beautiful green patterned paper.

from taunya1978:

Love the gorgeous notecards and I have just started cross stitching so the bright floss is perfect.

5  Subversive cross stitch - **** Cancer (warning: adult language in pics!) in Needlework: Completed Projects by Zero Cool on: September 21, 2007 11:00:31 AM
I found the subversive cross stitch website by clicking a link on craftster and I am so glad I came across it. Yes it's immature but the kits really made me smile. I decided to get the cancer one as I lost both my grandparents earlier this year to cancer, and my mum's currently in hospital for her second lot of treatment so I am trying to work out my frustrations in a creative way...

This is the first cross stitch project I've done since in about 17 years, and I really like how it turned out. The frame is one I decorated a few months back. It was all gold, so I added some brown paint and rubbed it down a bit, then hot glued the flowers on. I really enjoyed stitching this and I am planning to make some more things from the book soon.

here's what came in the post for me thins morning: rabbit jewellery and a rabbit stuffie from called2otherskys.

The earrings and bracelet are matching and so cute they will go with everything I don't want to take them off! And c2os made a little pouch for them as well.

couldn't get a better close up, please post if you have a better shot.

Check out this little fellow, rather charming don't you think?
His back is made from the same silky cherry print fabric as the pouch above so he's nice and soft.

Thanks you are a real sweetie, I'm glad you liked making them because I'm sure going to enjoy using and admiring it all! Cheesy

7  Hurry up cold weather! Extra long alpaca wool scarf and lattice shrug in Crochet: Completed Projects by Zero Cool on: September 10, 2007 05:21:16 AM
I managed to get some alpaca/wool blend yarn on sale really cheap and it was begging to be made into a snuggly scarf for the winter. It's really really long, around 15-16' in total!

The shrug is made from a badly finished shawl that I frogged, much happier with how this turned out.

I've started wearing the shrug now as autumn weather is creeping in. Can't wait to wrap up in the huge scarf and a big coat when winter comes.
Let me know what you think, any comments are appreciated Smiley

here are my amazingly gorgeous felted dreadlocks from superhooker
the shades of blue and green are perfect and she sent along a really cute matching hairband as well.

I've got a few important meetings coming up at work so I can't actually weave them into my hair yet, but here's what they look like when I put them in a ponytail (I love them Cheesy)

top shot

thanks very much they turned out really great, much better than I could have done I will be proudly showing them off to my friends later

love the new pics that were posted recently, great stuff.
That tea wallet is a cute idea.

I received a wonderful (and huge!) package from tasi292 stuffed full of embroidery supplies that was on my list. I have loads to work with now so I'll have to start practicing soon.

I still can't believe how much stuff there was! And I got a surprise as well, these awesome Mario bead coasters which were from my wist. I was going to buy the stuff to make them myself but tasi must've read my mind and got in there before me! The boo is my favourite he looks so cute. Thank you Cheesy

10  Re: Trash to Treasure Swap Gallery in The Swap Gallery by Zero Cool on: August 20, 2007 09:35:53 AM
Well here we have it, my awesome swap goodies. Can you believe this is Kenners' first swap? A true craftster indeed!

At the top of the box I found a knitted fabric scrap scarf, the stitches are so neat and even I bet it was really hard to work with and I love it so much. The bows are made out of negatives and buttons, there is a beautiful ring made from a New Zealand ring, drawing pins made from buttons and origami bunnies! Perfect because I've been meaniong to make a fabric covered pinboard, now I have a real reason, can't wait to use those pretty pins.

Here's a better close up of the smaller items above, the pink pouch is made from wool and plastic bags that Kenners spun(span?) herself! There were some nice natural soaps inside, Kenners I agree it may be a little too scratchy to use in the shower but I will put it to good use anyway. It is so cool, I think I will put a zip on top and use it as a coin purse or for my makeup or something.

I dug a little deeper and found a set of flower jewellery made from fused together plastic bags. And for all us dirty minded lot, a matching pair of pasties! I had a load of pasties added to my wist but these are totally unique. There's also a magazine paper bead necklace and a bunch of beads for me to use as well.

Woo, even more stuff here! Cute gift tags, a guiness beer mat notepad (awesome!), a button ring, fused plastic bag flower and bouquet.

And last but definitely not least, a cherry drawstring bag made from a string vest, metled bottelcap necklace and a cherry botlecap pendant, a pencil made from a plastic cup, a teacup candle made from old candles and a gorgeous set of coasters made from a felted jumper. I have been after some coasters for ages these are great.

Everything is so creative, I am really impressed with what you made Kenners. Thanks so much! Cheesy
