Just received from onecrazymom! The post office sure took its time... But I don't hold grudge, just look at this beautiful box!

So pretty!

A bit opened...

And here's everything spread loose from the box! I'm loving the little doll on the box so much that I just might have to copy that idea in some form! onecrazymom really got into what I like... Thank you again so much for the beautiful box! Cheesy

Argh, took long enough... Here are the last two pages I received! First one is from zzdia.

I don't understand much about the text itself, but I love the wonderful and pretty feeling to it! Cheesy

And this one's from mxer145... I really like how simple the woman is but at the same time she looks pretty intensive. Beautiful!

Urgh, just noticed that there's a stain in my table... Anyway, thank you so much, girls, both of your pages are a really wonderful addition to my journal! Cheesy

Hi everyone! I've been a bit sick lately, but I'm finally posting a bunch of pictures of what I've received!

In order of appearance... I got this page from Smmart! (I really tried reading what it said in Japanese xD)

And from curiousfae, red/black/white combo is one of my favorites!

And this one I got from r.forslund... Wonderful, a bit paler color scheme!

And finally a page I got from Tree27! I need to get myself a label-maker-thingy like that someday!

Thanks everyone for the wonderful, beautiful and great pages, they'll make a great addition to my journal! Cheesy

Okay, finally! I tried to hook up my scanner to my new comp, but it didn't turn out that well so I had to take photos. Here's what I got from stephfro23!

She used some of her fave songs as an inspiration (We'll be a dream by We The Kings feat. Demi Lovato and Brand New Day by Ryan Star) and I also got to hear them out! Cheesy
The white spots on the big flower are actually my camera flash playing with the pearly/silvery paint. The golden paint on the left side shines a bit as well Smiley It's also much more vibrant in real life, I need to get the scanner fixed!
Thanks stephfro23, loving my first page!

5  Re: Make a Purse & Fill It Swap (Round 6) Gallery in The Swap Gallery by pretty hate machine on: March 11, 2011 02:56:52 AM
Hi everyone! Sorry for taking an eternity to post pictures, but here's what I got from Sheeplet!

Here's everything at first...

...and here's the purse from the inside. Notice the similar color schemes and the clever red lip balm cozy! Now my lip balm will be never lost again... (a very nice cocoa butter lip balm was included!) Smiley

This one here is a notebook holder...

...inside lays a notebook and a place for a bunch of pens, very handy indeed!

I also got some cute hairclips (I have an addiction) and a cozy for my mp3-player, loving the colors in all of them!

She also included a tiny, beautiful sketchbook for on the go!

And a lot's of chocolate! You can notice that some of them didn't survive to the photo, I just couldn't resist while camera batteries were charging. Cheesy

And lastly, a picture of the bag on a fitting dummy to show the size of it. I would've taken a picture of it on me, but I really wasn't decent, haha!

So, thank you Sheeplet for being an awesome partner, hopefully you enjoyed your first swap! Cheesy I love everything you made me, the bag has already been in use (it fits surprisingly much stuff!) and loved...! Smiley

I'm finally posting what I got from imera! School really kept me busy this week.

First of all, here's the handmade journal I got. It has one of my favorite things, eclipse! I really like the idea she came up with...!

Here's the insides, and there's paintings of nebulae in the front and back cover. They're lovely and metallic! Cheesy

And here's the actual back cover and the falling stars included. I don't know if you can see, but she actually binded tiny enamel beads into the spine of the book!

I got the cutest trinket box from her, but sadly it didn't make the trip! I didn't have time to fix it, but I'll try some plywood-tape-thing when I get my hands into that. It was filled with 100 lucky stars, all hand folded! Smiley (they were literally flooding the parcel because the box no longer could held them in one place)

Here's few of the stars and a bigger one she had included.

Sorry for the crappy photos, but I had to use flash. Finland isn't exactly the most sunniest place during winter. And imera, thank you so much for everything once again, I really love what you made me! Cheesy

7  Corset + bustle from flea market materials (sculpture-ish) in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by pretty hate machine on: January 21, 2011 01:38:37 PM
Hi everyone! I had the hardest time deciding where this topic might belong, so... I'm here. Cheesy

This is a sculpture-thingy I made for school a year ago. It's build fully from materials we got from a sponsoring flea market (most of them were going to trash!) and it got to be in my school's summer exhibition. The corset is made from gauze and some random scrap of canvas, and the bustle is made of scarves, tablecloths, blankets, cloths, towels, skirts, winter cap, aaand... Well, a lot of random scraps and gauze as well.

They are both wearable, though the bustle would require some reinforcement to stay in shape, as I'm using an aluminum mesh "sculpture" as a mannequin. The corset is actually transparent because of the gauze, so the mesh allows light to come trough.

Oh, and the name at the top, it's Finnish word meaning either breath, ghost, life, spirit, soul and wraith. Take your pick! Cheesy (the address at the bottom is my dA-account, you can ignore that if you will)
Let me know what you think!

I'm finally submitting pictures of what I got from aisy! I came back home last night and now got the first chance to post some pics... I'm so sorry for taking this long!

Anyway, on to the pics! First we have a lovely velvety bag with the cutest cherry lining possible, I also love the ruffling... Sorry for the bad pic and the mess around.

Then I got a beautiful heart locket (and spare one to switch places with!), a lovely cookie-ring and a matching pendant, and also a cute cake case (ccc!). By the way, what stuff did you use to make these, they look so great!

And last but not least, a charm bracelet (one of the ice creams had fallen of, but there's nothing little glue won't fix!) and also a cake piece keychain. Aisy also sent me  some stickers and a phone charm as extras :3

To make long story short, aisy pretty much spoiled me! I love everything I got, and I had the most fun time making stuff for you and I'm also happy to know you liked the stuff I made you. Thanks for being a great swap partner...!

9  Re: Burlesque Swap 2 Gallery! in The Swap Gallery by pretty hate machine on: December 29, 2009 09:48:52 AM
Finally posting what I got from Katara Smiley Sorry that the pictures aren't that good, I was in quite a rush.

First of all, here's two boob tops, (to be honest, first I thought they were something like a belt, but now I know better Wink )

A garter, in my fav colours...!

And then a few fascinators! The first one is smaller, and it has feathers (I love feathers :3) which was a nice surprise, since Katara is allergic to feathers. The larger one is also really lovely, with the veil and all!

And last but not least, a pair of earrings in a cute organza pouch. I have already put them to use. Cheesy

Thanks again for being a great partner, I had a lot of fun with this swap! I think I'm going to keep making me some burlesqueish items...

10  Staring pencil case in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by pretty hate machine on: December 12, 2009 07:30:23 AM
I was in adesperate need of a pencil case, and finally thought I should do something about it. I got inspired by a pencil case I saw here (I think?) some time ago, but I can't find the topic anymore! I can't believe how disturbing this turned out Cheesy I was going to make it feet, too, but I guess I kinda lost my temper while making them and decided to leave them out.

I can't wait till monday to show off this at school!
