With simple metallic black paint and glittery shoelaces
and of course some fashion style...
I hereby present to you...






Hokey Pokey Smiley


Started out with these...


Some dotties were included drawn with metallic Acrylic paint Smiley


...Then there were hearty drawn~

Lastly completed with a matching glittering laces Smiley

Stripes and Pastel flats Smiley

Bluish-grey ballet flats from a local store.
With pastel buttons sew on
plus some blings of crystals at the side.

Made from a tee-shirt
The entire project took about 3 days.
Handsewed, especially tough at the thick straps.
added a gold ribbon for decorations.
Even though looks quite simple, but i love it loads.

4  No more cracking flats! (with instructions) in Shoes: Completed Projects by gniyeij87 on: July 14, 2007 08:19:23 AM





Brought 3 mths ago, a pair of white leather-like flat from MONDO.
Den it starts cracking and flaking "skin"~


[[Solution]]1) Clean surface with a damp cloth to get rid of all dirt.
2) Spead 2 layers of fabric glue to assure all crack will stop flaking.
3) After the glue dries, layers of white acrylic paint to be spread on. (til you cant see the cracks anymore)
4) With a brush and a comb, start splattering black acrylic paint as a design on the shoes.

Try it and give me some comments.

I've forgotten to take a picture of the original shoes...
before was jus white school shoes...


about a few weeks ago,

Materials used:
Buttons, fabric paint, threads~

But due to the lack of ideas, some parts of the shoes are left blank...


didnt quite like the blank parts, any idea on wad else to decorate?
