1  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / It's all been done. A BareNaked swap. on: July 11, 2007 06:05:49 PM
Anyone for BareNaked Ladies. The band preferably, but you know if you're into that it's cool too.

Also, I don't know if this has been done before, but I thought it would be a cool idea. If there was an Awareness swap that people could share what they're passionate about. Someone could make a craft for AIDS awareness or teen pregnancy prevention, or anti-tobacco, or something for the environment.

2  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / ugliest clothing EVER! [pic obese! like whoa!!] on: June 24, 2007 08:36:47 PM
So I have some old clothes that I'd like to salvage as opposed to just throwing away. Ignore my ugly and messy room and silly Elmo boxers.

An old ugly vest that's too small. Seriously if you can't tell it has tweety and taz on it and like vegetables and fruit! It says apple and has a cabbage on it. Who would wear this?!

A light blue way too big jersey of no meaning at all.

A gross, but potentially cute sweater thing. Sorry about bad picture!

3  CLOTHING / Clothing for Curvaceous Craftsters: Discussion and Questions / Business clothes help. on: June 13, 2007 09:01:34 PM
I'm leaving Sunday to attend a week-long convention for high school girls that deals with government. It's called Hoosier Girls State, and basically all these girls get together and make a fake government and cities and states and whatever.

Anyway, on to my problem. If we want to run for an office (Governor, for instance.) we have to dress the part. I guess that's fine and everything, but what do governoral candidates wear?! If anyone knows if there's a Governoral Candidate Store out there somewhere or something, please let me know!!

Thanks all so much!
