41  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Scarves! on: October 07, 2009 04:28:11 PM
So I've been trying to do a little more knitting lately & whipped up a few scarves

Knit in an open work pattern to kinda show off the textures

This one was done in seed stitch...I wish you could see the detail better!

My favorite...big, chunky, and I really like the color Smiley
Please excuse the sassy "hand on the hip" in every picture! I'm kind of awkward haha Grin
I've had some requests to do some vegan scarves so I've been knitting with bamboo yarn lately & I think it's my new favorite! Sooo much softer than acrylic.
42  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / NSFW F-bomb! on: October 07, 2009 04:16:42 PM
Figured simplicity may suit this one & let the word be the center of attention Smiley

43  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / The Office quote on: October 07, 2009 04:14:47 PM
I love The Office. In fact, I'm a little worried I may cry on the next episode of Pam & Jim getting married.
Anyway! This quote is from last season when Michael was trying to start up MSPC.

I love Michael's little positive messages Smiley
44  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / It's Always Fugees & Funyuns on: October 07, 2009 04:12:31 PM
Ok, so I'm a HUUUUGE fan of Zach Galafianakis so I made yet another cross stitch dedicated to him. This is taken from the interview with "Seth" his twin brother. And hilarity ensues  Cheesy
Here's the interview, which I highly recommend watching http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xWbobiutvxM

And here's the cross stitch!

The whole thing is about them bonding over "that one Fugees song" & Funyuns.

Close up!

45  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Mallrats quote NSFW! on: September 07, 2009 01:42:31 PM
I did this for my tattoo artist as a trade (score!) It took me FOREVER to finish because I had to re-start it like 5 times then I kept on messing up the border. But it is finished now! I like it  Smiley

46  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / First knit beanie! on: August 18, 2009 05:35:28 PM
So my friends have been requesting that I knit them hats...well, I didn't know how to so I decided I need to learn! This is my first attempt & I was surprised by how easy & quick it was! It's not perfect, but I think I did alright for my first try!

Thanks for looking! Any feedback is appreciated Smiley

49  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Color tinted tattoo flash on: July 22, 2009 03:45:28 PM
So I love color tinting. I've only used it with a few projects, but I always love the look it gives! Here's the piece I finished the other day.

I'm totally keeping this one for myself  Smiley
