21  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / PLZ help new knitter be happy!!!!!!!!!! on: February 21, 2007 07:07:17 PM
Hi everyone Grin

well i am pretty new at knitting. All i can knit is scarfs and flat objects that are very odd. 1 turned out to look like an old sock.

Anyways i was going to try to knit a double knit star scarf...i dont know how to double knit yet, but then i decided that a hat would proabably be easier and cooler.

So hats. I bet all of you reading this know how to make hats either simple knit hats or extrodanary hats. i think i should proabably start out with an easier one...not the cool ducky cat hat (which i might add is awesome) if there is a way to knit a hat without round needles please tell me and teach me how to do it!!

FYI i have really slow dial-up internet so i can't even watch videos online and downloading takes like 3 hours so tutorials that show videos i wont be able to use, but thankz for trying

thankz again

Arzu- i probably could use a scarf espesially since it was snoing a couple hours ago...but i'm used to snow..we've had snow since the start of Dec. anyways i love ur scarf arzu i like the pattern but ur right about having a lighter blue that would have been pretty. anyways i think i'm gonna use dark blue and white. i will start as soon as i learn exactly how to make my star scarf......if u have any tips i would luv them
