1  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Scrapbooking: Completed Projects / graduation scrapbook for my brother on: June 06, 2008 05:47:02 PM
I think this goes under scrapbooking and not just paper crafts since it's more of a scrapbook, but if I'm wrong let me know or the mods can just move the post to the correct place.

This is the book I made for my brother as his graduation present. I took a bunch of photos taken of him from July of last year until the day of his graduation and put them in a book. To make the book I went to the Dollar Store and bought a board book for kids since it's more sturdy than just paper pages, cut and glued scrapbook paper to each page and cardstock for the front and back covers.

There are so many pictures I made it into a slideshow for easier viewing.

2  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / tablet + psp = abstract image post on: February 01, 2008 01:49:59 PM
I recently got a Genius MousePen 8x6 tablet and am having lots of fun trying it out.

These are resized to 360x450 but the originals are 2400x3000.

3  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / magnets on: September 11, 2007 12:25:39 AM
Oh the joys of being broke. lol I was fumbling around trying to decide what to make my aunt for her birthday and came up with magnets. I used bottle caps from Powerade bottles, printed out the pictures I wanted and glued them in using modge podge.

Oh and I got the pictures from http://www.art4crafts.com.
4  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / sock monkey x 2 on: September 11, 2007 12:01:48 AM
This is George and he's the first one I made, mostly just to see if I could do it.

And this one I made for my cousin for her 10th birthday. I handed it off to my step-mom to give her since I wouldn't see her for a bit, so I hope she likes it. Even though he has mismatched eyes that make him look creepy. lol

I got both pairs of socks at Wal-Mart for $1 each.
5  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Scrapbooking: Discussion and Questions / printing digital scrapbook pages on: August 14, 2007 08:54:29 PM
Where can I go to get my digital scrapbook pages printed out? Either a store or a website I can upload my pages to and have them mailed to me is fine. Something inexpensive, as I heard Kinko's charges a huge fee.

I've already checked out some of the usual places to get photos printed and they don't deal with photo's that size. They could make them poster size, but that would be too big.
6  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / first time paintings on: August 08, 2007 04:28:27 PM
2 paintings, both on 8x10 canvas board.

This one also has scrap paper, photo paper and stickers besides paint.

p.s. - I have no formal training, obviously lol, so be kind! Smiley
7  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / felt monster on: May 02, 2007 05:54:30 PM

8  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / jewelry i've made on: February 18, 2007 11:54:38 PM
Hi everyone! I'm new here and wanted to share some of the jewelry I've made.

I'm pretty sure that I got all of the beads and clasps at Michael's. Most were in multi/variety packs so that I can feed my addiction (that would be crafting) even more. lol
