1  Pink Ribbon Lariat-Style(sorta) Necklace in Beads: Completed Projects by fReE N dEeD280 on: August 31, 2005 09:31:10 AM
Hey guys!  A girl I work with had a necklace on like this the other day, and it looked super-easy to make.  It was just ribbon and beads!  So, I came home and whipped this up.  I haven't seen anything like it on here or anywhere, really.  Maybe I missed it...but I thought I'd share.  This necklace could be dressed up or down...depends on your beads and your ribbon.  The ribbon I used here(pretty much all I had in the right length), doesn't have much sheen to it, and the beads are just plastic.  You can definetely change it up.

I hope you guys like this as much as I do!  Thanks for looking!

2  More Loopy Necklaces! in Beads: Completed Projects by fReE N dEeD280 on: August 30, 2005 09:17:06 PM
Ok...no thanks to the Long Loopy Necklace swap, I am OBSESSED with making these necklaces.  I made 2 last night and 1 today.  Here are the pics from the 2 last night.  I can't get a good pic of the 1 I made today.  Grr.

This one was virtually *free* to make.  A lady I work with brought these beads to me...they came from a store her friend works at...the necklace broke!  Free beads for me!  Score!  They're plastic, but pretty.

Here's my favorite loopy thus far!  The pics don't do it the right amount of justice, but you get the idea.  I got these from a bead show in March, and could NOT figure out what to make with them.  Until last night.  The bright blue beads are faceted and they definetely pick up the light.  I used 2 different kinds of seed beads for the "chain."

Thanks for looking!

Hey guys!  I received my necklace from handlethis yesterday and just now found the time to post it.

BTW Handlethis:  Thanks for the wonderful compliments!  I'm so glad that you liked your necklace!  I love mine too!  Here goes:

It's green and silver seed beads with pearls, and I can wrap it around my neck 3 times!

Thanks again!

4  Crackly Blue/Brown Necklace in Beads: Completed Projects by fReE N dEeD280 on: July 28, 2005 06:01:21 PM
Hey again!  This is a necklace I made to match a new top I bought.  You can sort of see the top I'm talking about in the pic.  I love these chunky beads.  I had originally intended on this being a long loopy necklace, but that particular night I forgot to buy crimp beads!  Argh!  Oh well, I like the way it turned out! Smiley

5  Long Loopy Red Necklace in Beads: Completed Projects by fReE N dEeD280 on: July 12, 2005 09:06:21 PM
Hey there!  I just wanted to show you guys this long necklace I made!  I made this after watching Joan Rivers' jewelry on QVC.  I hardly EVER watch QVC, but after staying with an older friend of the family who watches it all the time, I found myself in love with this necklace!  However, I, like any Craftster, thought, "Heh...50 bucks my butt! I'll make it!"  So, here it is...the pics suck, but hopefully you get the idea.  There are 2 pics...one as a long necklace and one all wrapped up like a choker!

This is also my first "real" post, though I've been around here some time.

Thoughts?
