1  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: Zippy Wallet w/tut link on: June 05, 2010 12:00:54 PM
Wow, was in the middle of posting a reply and got kicked out. Hmmm, well here goes again.
I am just now in the middle of making my first zippy wallet or any wallet for that matter.  The only thing is  I am a little confused about the snap.  Huh I am use to putting  snaps on  totes or bags I make before they the bags are put together. That way the backs are hidden. But these directions do it at the end? But I have never made a wallet before so I will do like the instructions say.  All the pics I have seen of the zippys look great so I am guessing the back of the snap does not show up anyway. Well maybe on the  tab.?  Anyway, I will post as soon as I am done. I have it all cut out and am ready to start sewing. This was my little break.. Sure hope it turns out as good as yours!!!!

You did really awesome on both of them. Makes me want to give it a try. The fabric seems to keep its shape well. Did you use a heavy interfacing? Great work! Donna Rae

I agree THIS ROCKS!  Saw this tute along time ago and just now had time to make. Wish my camera was working. If I get it fixed or a new one I will post a pic. of the finished product. I love carrying it and feel only RICH RICH RICH. The problem with the other writer was CAN"T SEW.  TOO Bad so SAD...Great Tute, Thanks So Much!
