Warning: Proud Mama Post
My 11 year old has been crocheting for about a year or so now.
She has started to make her own creations without patterns. I'll admit it, I'm impressed and just had to share!
Here are all her stuffies!
These bears are the first things she made. She had the idea to make flat panels and fold them in half. The head and body are one panel with the bow to make the neck. The arms and legs are squares folded in half.
Poor Pink bear still doesn't have eyes!
This turtle is made from i-cord that she stitched on her knitting nancy.
She made two really long cords that she rolled and sewed into circles (like coasters). Then she made three shorter cords that she sandwiched between the circles. The three cords have both ends sticking out: four ends are legs, and the other cord is the head and the tail.
This is a turkey she made for Thanksgiving. He's the first thing she created in the round.
I love this one! I called him Super Turtle! But she didn't like that! He was made as a gift for her big sister.
Again, he is two circles sewed over three tubes.
Then last of all, she made this mushroom! I don't even know when she made this, she just whipped it up one evening, I couldn't believe it!
Thanks for looking!
