Just wanted to post a pic of my little monster angel in her new dress.  And if you wonder why I call her a monster you'll have to read the blog post (http://aleryan.com/?p=42) about this photo shot.  (shameless plug  ) On to the picture:

I got this pattern from Crochet Garden (http://www.crochetgarden.com)  It's crocheted with Aunt Lydia's size 3 cotton thread and the flowers were crocheted with DMC floss.  I like that this pattern works up in one piece, there are no seams.  Hope you enjoy it!

Hi!  I made my first stencil (or print for silkscreen.  Haven't decided which yet.) and I was hoping to get some comments on what you think.  I was inpspired by two other yoga t-shirts I saw.  One said, "Yoga is for Posers" and the other was "People who Practice Yoga are Twisted."  I think I thought of the quote for this stencil, unless I saw it somewhere and don't remember.  If I have fun making this into a shirt I will probably make some more with the other quotes on them.  Thanks for the feedback and the all the inspiration these boards have created!

Okay, I had to show off.  I made this halter set for my daughter and here she is modeling it:

I got the pattern from Crochet Garden (http://www.crochetgarden.com) and it came in sizes
6 mos to 5t.  The set came with a pattern for the halter, hat and sweater.  I think my gauge was a little off on the halter because when I tested the gauge for the sweater I had to go up one more hook size.  So, the sweater fits great and the halter could stand to be a tad bigger.  Oh, well, it's starting to get cool anyway.  Thanks for looking!

I promised to show a pic of the fabric so here it is.  This is just the outside layer and the front is only temporarily seamed, I have a front opening busk to put in it.  I decided to go ahead and use a pattern this time since it was on sale for 99 cents (simplicity 5006).  The question I have now is should I put the boning inside or put satin ribbons over the seams for the boning so that it's more decorative?  Thanks for the suggestions!
