1  Re: "My First" ATC gallery for all the fabulous newbie ATC Artists in Artist Trading Cards (ATCs) by beforetherain on: February 23, 2007 06:46:12 AM
Hi. I've been making ATCs since January. I learned about them from reading this board so I thought I'd finally work up the nerve to show some of what I've made. Please excuse the slight glare on some of the photos. I was lazy and took the pics with the plastic sleeves still on the cards. Also please excuse and the unattractive background, I don't have a scanner.

Group pic (I've made more than this this is just a sampling):

Close up of the first ATC I ever made "Breathe Deeply" using a photo I took and altered on the computer, a rubber stamp, a doodad (can't remember what those round things are called), precut backing, and Asian inspired card stock paper:

Close up of "Once Upon A Time" made from card stock, mulberry bark, a packing tape transfer and a doodad:

Close up of "Beautiful Woman" made from Asian inspired card stock, mulberry bark, and a few free stock images I found on-line and altered and of course the ever so popular doodad:

Close up of "What a Girl Wants" made on precut backing with collage technique:

And last one for now close up of "Art is Sexy" made with card stock, a packing tape transfer of paintbrushes, a black stamp pad and a free image I found on-line:

Thanks for letting me share.

p.s. I've really enjoyed looking at the other pics in this thread! Wonderful pieces to look at! You all gave me the courage to post my pics as well!
