Thanks for the inspiration!

I really like that bag. You are ready for fall for sure.

And thanks for the idea of stacking books to sew around the top, you just solved one of my problems.

So what's next on your creative plate?
4  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / When it's hot outside, stay in and sew... on: July 11, 2005 08:02:48 AM
Whew, it was hot this weekend. So instead of braving the heat (I will be so happy when winter comes back) I just stayed in, watched golf, and made some bags. Here are a few of this weekend adventures:

The Doctor Tote (No idea really why I call it that, but it just seems right)
Outiside -

and inside -

The Beaded Softee

And the Tammye Bag (named for my sister, who will be getting this hopefully this week)

Can't wait for Friday so I can get going again.

Have a great day!

Nope, but thanks for the idea. I should make it a set.

And actually this isn't really a business venture, I was just being a bit optimistoc, but good looking out.

9  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Khaki karri pouchy thing on: March 27, 2005 06:43:03 PM
Hi there folks,

Here's a little something I stitched up after seeing so many great bags here in Craftsterland and spending a sleepless night thinking of designs.
It's a reversible pouchy thingy, made from an old skirt and linen vest that my fat booty couldn't fit into anymore. The ring is a shower curtain ring. And I desperately need to get a sewing machine because it was done by hand (yes, I was just that bored).
Sooooooo, whaddya think? It's my first real sewing project so be honest.

Somebody should post a warning - Do Not View The Site While Working!
Oh my gosh, I almost lost my job I was laughing so hard.

That is wonderful. I must make a snowglobe for my desk immediately. Thanks for the hilarious tutorial.  Cheesy
