1  When it's hot outside, stay in and sew... in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by Kimiko2 on: July 11, 2005 08:02:48 AM
Whew, it was hot this weekend. So instead of braving the heat (I will be so happy when winter comes back) I just stayed in, watched golf, and made some bags. Here are a few of this weekend adventures:

The Doctor Tote (No idea really why I call it that, but it just seems right)
Outiside -

and inside -

The Beaded Softee
Outside -

And the Tammye Bag (named for my sister, who will be getting this hopefully this week)

Can't wait for Friday so I can get going again.

Have a great day!

3  Khaki karri pouchy thing in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by Kimiko2 on: March 27, 2005 06:43:03 PM
Hi there folks,

Here's a little something I stitched up after seeing so many great bags here in Craftsterland and spending a sleepless night thinking of designs.
It's a reversible pouchy thingy, made from an old skirt and linen vest that my fat booty couldn't fit into anymore. The ring is a shower curtain ring. And I desperately need to get a sewing machine because it was done by hand (yes, I was just that bored).
Sooooooo, whaddya think? It's my first real sewing project so be honest.

4  Yeah, my 3rd project in Needlework: Completed Projects by Kimiko2 on: November 20, 2004 10:16:41 AM
Howdy folks,

Ok, last week (or was it two?) I started on my projects for Christmas. Here's the second one. Hopefully I will get to the 3rd.

Does it look ok?

Sorry about the icky pic. My camera is broken so I had to scan it.

Have a great day!

5  My 2nd embroidery attempt...oh boy in Needlework: Completed Projects by Kimiko2 on: November 10, 2004 04:52:18 PM
Howdy. About a week ago I ran to the bookstore to get Jenny Hart's Stitch-It-Kit (it was pouring rain and I needed something to do after work). Oh my, what sleep I have lost since then. I've been way too inspired and can't turn it off. Now I'm making templates out of everything.
This project is a result of MS Word clip-art, a font I found somewhere, supplies from AC Moore (floss 8 for $1? Wow!), a transfer pen, and my trusty iron.
So, whaddya think?
