371  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Scrapbooking: Completed Projects / Re: My 2 Loves, Felt & Scrapbooking on: February 24, 2007 08:24:07 AM
Why would you choose felt for scrapbooking? It's an interesting choice. So we could incorporate fabric as well? What diffference would the two make?
372  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Misc. Gift Idea Brain Blockage / Re: "_____ in a box" gift ideas. on: February 23, 2007 09:23:58 AM
Below are some ideas I recently came up with. I'm not sure if anyone did them already.

Ghost in a box for aa person who is into paranormal stuff. You could put a stuffed ghost, paranormal books or stories. Maybe a ghost hunting video or haunted places type video, binoculars, and whatever else creative you come up with.

Sprit in a box... You could put a bible and a bunch of things that are spiritual in nature.

Memories in a box you could put pictures and all types of fun memories you had with a certain individual. Maybe a journal with stories and quotes of your times together.

Couldn't you make some of them glued onto something like a box and make it 3D? Then give it as a gift if you make tons and have no clue what to do with all of them.

yay, I love food sculptures!  I have a book on how to do it, but I don't have nearly enough patience for it.

What is the book called? Does it take long to make?

This is my first try using card stock paper. Not too shabby. Nice and stiff too.

I really like how the star came out. The design on the paper gives it a sense of style.
379  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Re: Shaving Cream Cards-- With Tutorial--MUST TRY! on: February 22, 2007 02:22:02 PM
I don't know if someone has already posted this.. But in the men's section of the shaving products is the Colgate brand shaving foam stuff.. Really cheap.. usually on the bottom shelf..

I've done this once with my daughter, but instead we used cool whip and she was finger painting with it... It was great.. She was 1 1/2 and I have some great photos of it.. Still have the pictures she painted even though the colors faded a bit... we did that in 2002

Yea, I used the cheap colegate brand of shaving cream for a different project. I'm thinking of using the same brand for this project so that way I'm not spending way too much on the first try.

That's a pretty style of table cloth to make into a dress. It turned out well.
