4  Re: slouchy bag help please!!! in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Discussion and Questions by kunickamonika on: November 10, 2008 05:22:21 AM
Hi

I made couple similar slouch bags. I used fusible fleece interfacing. the pattern is almost like basic Jody bag but a little bit more square like. Smiley
the top and the bottom are a little bit different not much.It depends on how wide i made the bottom of the bag.
PS I make handle kind of short which i think forces the top of the bag to slouch!!
here are my bags

good luck

6  Funky HOBO bag in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by kunickamonika on: July 19, 2008 04:16:52 PM
Hi everyone.
I just finished my new baby...HOBO BAG  the biggest bag I ever made17.5 x 14 ".and bottom base: 11" wide x 5" deep  I don't know if I am very slow or something but it took me 6-7 hours to make this bag. How long usually take you guys to make large bag?
This bag I made of light pink fashion denim fabric and 100% black cotton lining. I added to the front of the bag three-appliqu flowers using black linen and pink denim fabric. The flowers were iron on and then sewn to the fabric, I used my crazy strait stitch for the inside.
I also made two pockets inside one open and one with zipper
