This is my first claim this round, so 0 sent, 0 received. I'm in Northwest Washington State. My 18th birthday's coming up, I'm off to the Evergreen State College in the fall, and I've got a rocking childcare job right now.

Since I really <3 the stuff on my wist, I'm going to give you some (BIG WISH) links to that.

I really would like a new backpack for school and everything. The one I have is too small, it's wearing out (I've used it for 4 years), and having two would not be a bad thing. I know that fabulous bags like these can be pretty expensive, so I would be amazed if someone would craft me one!

On another note, my family's moving into a new house, so I have a new bedroom. I would definitely appreciate:
-Some (possibly framed) black-and-white photography. I am interested in subjective art without people or animals in it.
-Smallish wood shelves (decorative in nature) for me to mount on a dark wall. Any wood is fine, though stain would make it a little hard, because I'll be painting it to match anyway.
-A set of teacups. I'd want about six, and mismatch would be fine, even exciting.
P.S.: If you go to valspar.com and look up the colors Gentle Violet, Opal Slate and Timid Absinthe, you'll see the colors of 3 of my walls; one dark wall; and ceiling, respectively. I'm also doing white trim with silver accents around the room, so if you have an idea I haven't mentioned about something you'd like to craft for my new place, it would be awesome for you to coordinate it.

I'd like some kind of storage for my rubber stamps. I got like 50 for graduation, and they do NOT fit in the art supply bag I'm taking away to college.
Stamp pads of any color or kind
Mixed paper, possibly along with a big plastic folder to store it in - I love scraps and ephemera as well as big sheets.
I really like the idea of a small-scale collage. You could find a small frame at Goodwill, cut out pics from magazines and shrink them down, maybe black and white, to fit in the frame. I would love that amazingly. What about a frame filled with interesting and beautiful people? That would be fantastic. I'd be happy with a wall or table frame for this one.

NEW STUFF
I love love love horizontal stripes. I'm excited by the shirt I'mm making for roxy, and would like to put in a request for a women's large shirt with my name on it. Embroidered, carefully stenciled, appliqud....?
I really love rubber stamps. I'm going away to college soon, so I won't be able to use my dad's any more. A great item for me would be some rubber stamps, hopefully unique. Handmade would be over-the-top amazing!!

-Plastic headbands picked some up at dollar tree
-Old photographs you have lying around - alana1223 gave me some of these, they were awesome! I want more!
-Homemade or not - chapstick in exciting flavors/shines
-A heather grey tshirt (medium if it's preshrunk is good) with a dark
blue or deep red design you stencil on (no words, please)
-Typewriter keys
-Chuck Taylors (men's size 7) as beat up as they have to be
-Catholicky, religious-related paraphernalia for my shrine (think
figurines, not pamphlets)
-Very soft leaded pencils (thanks gatheredthreads)
-Anything relating to design and printing (a bracelet with CMYK or RGB
beads, maybe?) But check the ows 21 gallery for a great pendant gatheredthreads sent me and the Wist Assistance gallery for some ribbon-wrapped bangles made for me by superhooker

I'm making a tshirt quilt in the theme of Disney movies, so I am
looking for lots of used tees with Disney-movie related graphics on
them.. I'm trying to stick with cell animation, so Toy Story and
beyond are no-gos. The shirts can be for little kids I'm not wearing
them, just cutting them up. So far, I've got one with Ariel and
another with Simba. I'm not sure how much of a long shot this is, but
would love to receive some.

ALSO - I am kicking off a project involving a tshirt with every letter of the alphabet sewn onto it...the letters come from other shirts and sources...here's the alphabet, with what I have so far (thanks in part to gatheredthreads) crossed off:

The letters that aren't crossed off are not top-priority..I already have one, but feel free to send duplicates so I can pick my favorite.

-Make me a bunch of really funky fridge magnets - we're planning a big sheet metal wall at my house and have no magnets to cover it  **UPDATE** I've already received a bunch - from superhooker and alana1223, and I'm due to get some from padray and kishcrafts. But this is a BIG metal board, and the more, the merrier. I have a lot of the glass bubble magnets...maybe something different?
-I recently got a job as a dishwasher at a restaurant where the aprons only go up to my waist..maybe I could get something to protect my upper half, too? lost the job  Sad
-A kit to make my own sock monkey
-A felted purse
-I'm collecting clothing tags that I find especially exciting..I don't mean the kind that comes from the inside of the shirt, the kind that hangs off clothes before they're bought. Many stores have just a paper pricetag, but sometimes the companies have cloth, wood, or harder paper. Send a couple this way?

Surprise me!! Maybe there's something you craft that's uniquely yours, or a junk drawer you keep with things reminiscent of my wishlists...I'm open to something like this.

I got a great package today from alana1223. She'd claimed me for a wisty surprise, and she packed a tiny box full of tons of great stuff! Here it is:

I couldn't get a good picture of the wistiest part, four matchbook notebooks she made for me!

I got an amazing package from superhooker. I'm only sorry it took me two days to post pics! This is going to be very image-heavy. Here goes.

Here's a great solution for a wish I had - my very own brand of bath products! What you see here are (I think) two bottles of soapy shampoo or bodywash, two sacks of bath brew and two beautifully molded soaps. They all smell so cozy!
(They even say "Maddie's Mix" on them with a cassette graphic! Get it - Maddie's Mix! A Tape! I was delighted)


Next we have a cute collection of bangles, never to be worn apart from each other, in a very nice RGB color scheme. Thanks for picking up on that, superhooker!


Moving on - felted soap (just what I asked for!) and three cute felt beads. I'll have to start a collection of handmade beads to save up and make something really cool. I love how the two items match.

Here's an "action shot" of a rice-filled neck pillow I got! I have such a bad spinal cord...here it is getting ready to warm up in the microwave.

Now for the two BEST items with the most obscure pictures.
What you're seeing here is an over-the-top multi-charm necklace with a love theme, all in nice blues. There are polymer clay charms, dangling metal hearts, and even a key. Truly a beautiful piece.

(I almost forgot to mention the cute polymer heart earrings and accessory to go along with it all! Unfortunately, no pic Sad ) but a great ensemble.

And here I am in the circle sweater I wanted to badly. The color was perfect. I wore it yesterday and I couldn't resist putting it on again just now.


On top of this remarkable package, I also got some goodies:

Homemade gummies (they look like frogs and grasshoppers), lollies (you can see I've taken a bite out of one...yummy), a symphony toffee-chocolate bar that's so huge I've definitely been sharing it, and even a box of tea!

Thanks a billion, superhooker. I hope everyone checking this out loves the stuff almost as much as I do.

i received from melonbread and alana1223 while i was gone and they both spoiled me!

alana1223 chose me for some art for my walls.. i asked for some black and white photos of buildings and such for my walls and she sent me a black and white picture of a factory, that she TOOK and also framed it with a pretty red mat to fit my room Cheesy


melonbread chose me for something from my wists and she sent me a YARD of some really amazing fabric!!


i usually only ask for 5 x 5 because i turn them into pocket mirrors, so a yard is gonna make a TON of pocket mirrors! this fabric is just too yummy!

thank you so much ladies, you both rock!

I didn't realise what you used it for...maybe you can send me a mirror if you get the chance to make one? That would be awesome..i'll pm you.
