I got a great package today from alana1223. She'd claimed me for a wisty surprise, and she packed a tiny box full of tons of great stuff! Here it is:

Some lipbalm and glitter (which I go crazy for)

Magnets the picture does NOT do justice.

And a combo shot of some cute pink minimagnets for my collection and an envelope of cool old photos.

I couldn't get a good picture of the wistiest part, four matchbook notebooks she made for me!

Please enjoy the pics!

I got an amazing package from superhooker. I'm only sorry it took me two days to post pics! This is going to be very image-heavy. Here goes.

Here's a great solution for a wish I had - my very own brand of bath products! What you see here are (I think) two bottles of soapy shampoo or bodywash, two sacks of bath brew and two beautifully molded soaps. They all smell so cozy!
(They even say "Maddie's Mix" on them with a cassette graphic! Get it - Maddie's Mix! A Tape! I was delighted)

Next we have a cute collection of bangles, never to be worn apart from each other, in a very nice RGB color scheme. Thanks for picking up on that, superhooker!

Moving on - felted soap (just what I asked for!) and three cute felt beads. I'll have to start a collection of handmade beads to save up and make something really cool. I love how the two items match.

Here's an "action shot" of a rice-filled neck pillow I got! I have such a bad spinal cord...here it is getting ready to warm up in the microwave.

An (unfortunately) abbreviated shot of some wayy cute magnets for my collection:

Now for the two BEST items with the most obscure pictures.
What you're seeing here is an over-the-top multi-charm necklace with a love theme, all in nice blues. There are polymer clay charms, dangling metal hearts, and even a key. Truly a beautiful piece.

(I almost forgot to mention the cute polymer heart earrings and accessory to go along with it all! Unfortunately, no pic Sad ) but a great ensemble.

And here I am in the circle sweater I wanted to badly. The color was perfect. I wore it yesterday and I couldn't resist putting it on again just now.

On top of this remarkable package, I also got some goodies:

Homemade gummies (they look like frogs and grasshoppers), lollies (you can see I've taken a bite out of one...yummy), a symphony toffee-chocolate bar that's so huge I've definitely been sharing it, and even a box of tea!

Thanks a billion, superhooker. I hope everyone checking this out loves the stuff almost as much as I do.

I got this FANTASTIC package on Friday from gatheredthreads. Included were a nice watercolor card; three softlead drawing pencils; a rolled-paper-bead necklace; a color wheel pendant on a chain; and a little booster set for my big alpha-tshirt project! Talk about attention to wists!

I hope y'all enjoy the (admittedly lo-rez) pic:

I receieved a BIG envelope of ephemera today from defunctbuffalo. It's a great mix of all sorts of fun stuff.

Here's a pic of the big pile:

and a close-up on some stuff I thought was especially cool

Thanks, defunctbuffalo!  Grin

6  Dinosaur Tshirt Tote (Roar!) in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by MelonBread on: April 17, 2007 11:06:06 PM
This is my first project post, so here goes nothing:

Last week, I spent some time taking a tiny tshirt and changing it to a tote!

I cut equal-sized pieces out of the front and back of the shirt and lined it with some flowered print. I sewed things together and added some ribbony handles. I also used the pocket I removed from a shirt I modified for a swap! Here are a couple pics (unfortunately, I accidentally deleted the one of the other side of the bag and I'm afraid it can't be recovered_:
