So far the only thing I have finished are the Save the Dates.  They are on yellow paper cut to 4x6 size.  This is just a mock up of how they look...  In reality, the picture in the middle is a magnet.  It sits inside an orange envelope.  The wedding colors are orange, purple, and yellow....  Though it is hard to tell from the picture, it was taken at our wedding venue- a winery...

please excuse the green line... that is word telling me it doesn't like the sentence fragment.  As an English teacher I should be ashamed- but I'm not...  I love the colors.  The yellow paper I used is very close to the mock up color I clicked on in word.  I definitely didn't go traditional in colors.

Here is the water bottle label I created. I kinda like it, but the hubby-to-be loves it, so I guess that matters...

The colors in the larger picture are a little off.  The top is orange, but it looks kinda purple to me in the larger picture.

I wanted to come up with an interesting way to ask my bridesmaids to be in the wedding.  I found a book online: 101 Uses for a Bridesmaid Dress.  I created a little bookmark and put that inside of it.  I wrapped it up in pretty paper and gave it them.

I want to make the jewelry for the bridesmaids as part of their gift, and here is the bracelet I came up with:

I have been working on the votive candles for the centerpieces, and with the help of one of my bridesmaids, this is what we came up with:

I am getting married on July 9, 2011 at a winery.  I've been working on ideas for my centerpieces which don't involve flowers.  So far, this is what I've come up with.  The labels will be removed from the bottles, and the little votive candles will have purple glitter on them.  The able clothes will either be orange or yellow.  We haven't decided yet.  The colors for the wedding are yellow, orange, and purple...





there will be two votives on each of the four sides of the centerpiece...  they aren't all there in the pictures...

Wow!  Everyone has great stuff!  My package from Chloecat arrived on Friday, but I was unable to open it until today.  Olin and I had some unexpected things come up this weekend.  Now after much fighting with the computer and the camera I have pictures to share!!!

I'm gonna include a shot of my pretty kitty... he doesn't mind being called pretty...  He has a great temperament.  He greats me at the door when I come home, and sleeps on his own pillow at bed time.  He's the sweetest cat I've ever met, and I don't say that just because he is mine...  Here he is enjoying the sun coming through the dining room window

I've had Olin since the day of my college graduation.  I estimate his age to be about six years.  He's my baby!  He has his own pillow on my bed, and sleeps there every night.  He likes to put his paw on my cheek sometimes while he sleeps, so I will wake up with him staring me right in the face.  Once eye contact is made, it is breakfast time.....  But that is enough for now.  He is happy to be included in mom's first swap.  I've angeled before, but that is it...  I'm excited!

This is my first new topic post...  I made these earrings for a friend of mine for her May birthday.   I am hoping that I am doing this right, because I honestly have no clue what I am doing, and I couldn't make the craftster photo hosting work... it kept saying that there was an error in the uploading.  I know these are simple, but I like them...
