It's gorgeous; simplicity is stunning.  I didn't even think of streamers when I saw the photo.  Pretty.

Great idea.  I've already made 3 denim quilts AND still have a stockpile.  It would make a fine workbasket.  You did a good, looks great.

8  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Suggest New Boards and New Features / Re: Glass board! on: August 30, 2006 09:41:42 AM
I check in here every couple days to see what everyone is creating :}.  I'd love a separate board for glass work.  I usually enter glass in the search area & take it from there.  I get the inspiration to do more in stained glass & as a result my knitting is suffering!    Roll Eyes
I started a dragon box a couple days ago.  Keep wandering in there every couple hours.  Just can't seem to leave it alone!

Have you checked at Chantal's??
http://chantalstainedglass.50megs.com/

I believe she has a pattern called 'goofy alphabet'.  I don't have it bookmarked but it's there somewhere.  Also I have several books ordered from my library on alphabets.   Check to see if they offer 'inter library loan'.  That way you can borrow from almost any library they are affiliated with.    Happy hunting, mwyn

10  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: lace stole pattern? on: August 22, 2006 07:56:51 PM
This is a stole in a wavy pattern I especially like.  It's simple.

It's not strictly lace weight; uses a variety of weights & textures.

Good luck, mwyn
