1  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / wax paper and electrical tape in the oven on: April 26, 2008 08:46:42 PM

2  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / some random monsters on: April 18, 2008 12:01:52 AM
I've been on a bit of a monster kick as of late and came up with these three guys while watching Firefly (<3)

This is Seymour the Spedapus (as you can tell he's a bit on the special side, lol). He gets motion sickness (so the ocean is a no go), but he still loves boat and water related art (occasionally those make him sick too though).

Meet Myke, he's a little emo/goth monster who pretends to hate attention but his pink hair says otherwise. Smiley

This is Sart Bimpson, he wasn't intentionally a Fox ripoff, but apparently when you mix yellow and spikes it just happens. Sart however, is not like Bart. He is quiet and smart and is a HUGE fan of  rootbeer popsicles.

3  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / once upon a time bunny on: April 17, 2008 11:42:53 PM
So my best friend's bunny got sick last week and died on monday, she was really upset about it (who wouldn't love a bunny?), so I made this for her!

I went to her house (with the bunny hidden) and said: "Once upon a time my best friend had a bunny, and this bunny got real sick. Then the bunny went to better place. Well the girl was real upset, so her best friend (ME!) decided to make her feel better."

Thats when I gave her the bunny. She started cracking up and LOVED it. Smiley

(thanks for looking!)
4  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Emosaurous Rex & Friends on: April 04, 2008 07:58:57 PM
So I was wandering through the craft dept at my local Wal-Mart and found this AWESOME bright pink fur fabric. I bought it (really, who wouldn't), and at first I was going to make an army of dinosaurs, but they seemed way too difficult. My next thought was monsters, everyone loves monsters. I wanted to get some ideas and got inspiration for one here: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=230441.0 after that I just went on a random monster making binge and so far my army consists of 4 strange creations.

None of them have names yet, but I decided that my pink guy looks like that monster that Bugs Bunny always meets when he ventures into the haunted castle.

This is my Emosaurous Rex, he just looks so sad! Smiley

I don't know why but this one gives me the creeps...

I made him at like 3am, but I love his pink mohawk!

I'll end up making more dinos and pink monsters, those are my favs!

Thanks for looking!! Smiley
