Here are two cakes I did for a babyshower, both babies are piped from buttercream, the Roland Winbeckler way.
The first cake was covered with pettinice, I think it's called, which tastes SOOO much better than fondant. The blanket and bottle is also made using that stuff.
The second cake was covered in buttercream icing.
Diane Shavkin used to have step by step instructions on her site, but now I don't see it. I would be happy scan my copy and post it for anyone that would like it.
