This is the mini quilt I made for the MAQ swap. It's called Love Blossoms. It's the first time I've stippled using my sewing machine. Who knew, I've been missing tons of fun all these years Wink......and see you can teach an old dog a new trick. HAHAHA.

12  Gone But Not Forgotten Quilt Tops in Quilting: Completed Projects by FabricFun on: April 21, 2011 06:16:46 AM
I finished two Harry Potter Quilt Tops. I titled them Gone But Not Forgotten since the books are done and the movies will be finished soon.

I've never made appliques (raw edge finished with machine blanket stitch) this large before. I'm not real sure how to quilt it. Any suggestions?

Oh my gosh! I received my quilt today. I ran out so fast I think the mail lady thought I was going to tackle her Cheesy

Here is my AMAZING tree. It's so totally me Grin I couldn't ask for more!!

There are lots of pink 3D leaves, an adorable little 3D owl, pink, pink and more pink, polka dots galore, and buttons(did I mention I love buttons?)

Cute little mushrooms and lots of fun echo quilting (It's cloudy outside and I couldn't get it to photograph real well)

The back label is so adorable and creative too

This one is "Snack Attack". I used patchwork, applique, machine and hand embroidery, embellishments and of course lots of nutty nonsense Wink

OK. I'm weird about collecting food print fabrics but I hope it makes you smile Grin

**UPDATE** I added a really long tutorial on my blog

Here are some photos of the dress. It's about 8 years old. It was my sister-in-laws expensive dress that I made Christening outfits for my niece and nephew out of. Still has lots of pretty lace and beads. Only a small piece of the front bottom left. Back bottom is gone. Lots of misc lace from the bottom left as well.
