11  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Knifty Knitter Scarf on: January 25, 2008 07:38:09 PM
Hey everybody. I thought that I would share the scarf I did on my blue Knifty Knitter for one of my friends for Christmas. I loved the yarn, it was very easy to work with and a beautiful array of colors.

Without further ado........

Thanks for looking. Comments?  Smiley
12  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / First Embroidery Project on: December 06, 2007 04:58:27 PM
Hey everyone. This is my first completed embroidery project. I am putting it in with my Dirty Santa package for whichever friend gets it. It is a pillowcase from a kit. It is a little puckered in some places but overall I am very happy with how it turned out.

It is slightly folded. And not ironed. Please ignore that.  Grin

Here is a close up. My photography skills are not good.

Comments and criticism welcome. Thanks for looking  Smiley
13  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / Stocking (for Dirty Santa gift exchange) on: December 06, 2007 04:31:33 PM
Hey everyone. This is a stocking that I just finished. I started it yesterday and finished today after I got home from class. I quilted parts of it yesterday and sewed the two pieces together today. It is going in with the other things that I am making for one of my friends. We decided to do Dirty Santa this year so I don't know who will get it. I just hope they like it as much as I do. I almost don't want to give it up.

On to the photos.......

And here is the lining which also served as the backing too.

Comments and criticism welcome. Thanks for looking!   Grin
14  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / Stockings. on: December 04, 2007 06:28:13 PM
Hey everybody. I am a long time lurker and thought that I would post the stockings that I sewed yesterday. They go with a tree skirt that my mom did. Very simple, as they are my first sewing projects ever. I am very proud of them and the fact that they have the stocking shape. So on to the pictures.

Comments and criticism appreciated!
