31  Re: I Love BUTTONS Gallery in The Swap Gallery by tinkrbella2005 on: June 23, 2008 01:05:04 PM
I received today from michelleames. Everything I got was awesome. Thanks so much partner. Here are the photos of everything:

Group Shot:

Dotee doll(I love these little things):

Close up on her face:

Yeah that is really blurry but she is really cute!

Notebook and pins:

Heart plaque:

And last but not least all my lovely buttons:

I think my favorites are the big red one and the monkey one beside of it.

Sorry for the huge photos, I don't know how to fix that.  Sad

Wow, I think that is the longest post I have ever done. I think that is everything. I had such a great time doing this swap and I can't wait until michelleames receives. If you have better photos, michelleames, feel free to post them. I couldn't get a good close up of the dotee dolls face. Happy Crafting everyone!  Smiley

I received from tiegh! Oh my goodness, be prepared to see the cutest pin cushion EVER!She embroidered it (with her mad skillz) and I am in love with felt.

I <3 <3 <3 it!

And as a suprise she added a needlebook. With instructions that my cat was not to get it like my last pin cushion. Smiley

Thanks tiegh! Aren't they the cutest things? This has been a wonderful first swap. Now I just have to hope that my partner likes hers!

33  Overload of Earrings (6 IMGS) in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by tinkrbella2005 on: March 06, 2008 11:04:19 PM
Hey everybody. I thought that I would share some of the earrings that I have done. I am going to donate a bunch of them to an art auction that goes toward a local school art program. The amount of money the arts gets in schools is ridiculous in my opinion. So, I thought that I would help out and donate some of the things that I have made.

On to the photos(Props to my sister for taking the photos for me!):

Pink and Blue Glass

Two different Button Chandeliers

Chips and Chain

Dark Green Twists

Milky Green Twists

Pink and Clear Glass

So, there they are. I have more but will post the rest later. Don't want to do too many at one time. Smiley

What do you think? Good enough for an art auction?

35  Chain Necklace in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by tinkrbella2005 on: January 25, 2008 07:57:07 PM
Here is a necklace I did a few nights ago. I love to work with chain and beads. I have quite a bit in my stash and I was bored with homework the other night.  Grin

The necklace is ball chain and three glass beads that I got at the dollar store(oh yeah!).

And here it is.....

It lays very well and I love the color of the beads.

So...What do you think? Smiley

36  Beaded Lanyards in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by tinkrbella2005 on: January 25, 2008 07:48:50 PM
Hello crafty people. My mom recently commissioned me to make her a lanyard for her badge that she has to wear at work. She wanted a beaded one, so we went to the craft store and she picked the beads that she wanted me to use.

This is what I came up with....

Sorry for the horrible pictures. A photographer I am not.

I made two others a few nights ago for coworkers. Here they are. One requested pick and the other said that she liked the colors in my mom's.

So...what do you think?

Hey everybody. I thought that I would share the scarf I did on my blue Knifty Knitter for one of my friends for Christmas. I loved the yarn, it was very easy to work with and a beautiful array of colors.

Without further ado........

Thanks for looking. Comments?  Smiley

38  First Embroidery Project in Needlework: Completed Projects by tinkrbella2005 on: December 06, 2007 04:58:27 PM
Hey everyone. This is my first completed embroidery project. I am putting it in with my Dirty Santa package for whichever friend gets it. It is a pillowcase from a kit. It is a little puckered in some places but overall I am very happy with how it turned out.

It is slightly folded. And not ironed. Please ignore that.  Grin

Here is a close up. My photography skills are not good.

Comments and criticism welcome. Thanks for looking  Smiley

39  Stocking (for Dirty Santa gift exchange) in Winter Holidays by tinkrbella2005 on: December 06, 2007 04:31:33 PM
Hey everyone. This is a stocking that I just finished. I started it yesterday and finished today after I got home from class. I quilted parts of it yesterday and sewed the two pieces together today. It is going in with the other things that I am making for one of my friends. We decided to do Dirty Santa this year so I don't know who will get it. I just hope they like it as much as I do. I almost don't want to give it up.

On to the photos.......

And here is the lining which also served as the backing too.

Comments and criticism welcome. Thanks for looking!   Grin

40  Stockings. in Winter Holidays by tinkrbella2005 on: December 04, 2007 06:28:13 PM
Hey everybody. I am a long time lurker and thought that I would post the stockings that I sewed yesterday. They go with a tree skirt that my mom did. Very simple, as they are my first sewing projects ever. I am very proud of them and the fact that they have the stocking shape. So on to the pictures.

Comments and criticism appreciated!
