1  For Mommy, Daughter, and Baby Doll in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by mushter on: July 14, 2009 12:37:04 PM

I wanted to make matching outfits for all of us, but I was short on time so I kept it simple.  I made an elastic waist skirt for myself and pillowcase dresses for my girl and her baby doll.  I used hand dyed bamboo fabric.  I like how they turned out, but I'll probably add an applique to them.

2  Sunbeam Patchwork Pants in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by mushter on: June 08, 2009 06:30:21 PM

The panels on these pants took a long time to design and sew, but I love the way they turned out.  The sunbeam design was my husband's idea.  I got them finished just in time for a Phish concert we went to.

3  Birthday dress for my sweetie in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by mushter on: May 28, 2009 12:28:21 PM

It was the little one's third birthday so I let her pick out some fabric and I made her a dress.  After what seemed like hours at the fabric store she finally settled on this cute lady bug fabric.

4  Diaper Cake for my friend's baby shower in Baby Showers And Gifts For New Babies by mushter on: March 27, 2009 08:33:14 PM
Just made this for my friend's baby shower tomorrow.  It was my first time making one.  I'm usually a seamstress, but I had fun doing something crafty besides sewing.

I found the cutest fabric and bought it all.  So far I've made a headband and this cute little dress.  Now what to make next?

6  Patchwork toddler dress in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by mushter on: October 21, 2008 09:43:47 PM
This is one of my favorite sewing projects ever.  I just love patchwork, and I think little girls look adorable in it.

7  Toddler Fairy Wings in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by mushter on: May 02, 2008 12:42:44 PM
I made some fairy wings for my little girl.  Daddy is taking her to a fairy festival this weekend.  I know they're not as awesome as some of the wings I've seen on craftster.  It was my first time making them though and I thought they turned out to be pretty cute.  I can't wait to finish her little fairy skirt.

8  My favorite hippie skirt yet in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by mushter on: April 16, 2008 03:29:31 AM

I make these kind of skirts a lot but I really liked this one.  The blue floral fabric just popped out at me when I went to the fabric store.  I like the ruffle at the bottom too, even though I HATE gathering Cheesy  Thanks for looking.

9  Toadette Costume for my daughter in Halloween Costumes by mushter on: October 19, 2007 08:25:13 PM
Toadette is my favorite nintendo character so I had to make this for my little girl.  I thought she looked so cute but hardly anyone knew who she was at a party I went to.

10  My first sewing class...Great success in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by mushter on: July 09, 2007 04:26:46 AM
I taught my first so class yesterday and I had to share the great skirts my students made:

They all wanted to make hippie style skirts for the All Good Music Festival coming up in a few days.  They all had no or little sewing experience.  5 hours later and they were finished.  They did an excellent job.  Everything went more smooth than I expected.

I can't wait to do another class.  Maybe the next one will be on apron tops.
