71  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / Re: beaded DNA with tutorial! (muchas imgenes) on: January 09, 2008 07:02:58 PM
!
I'm a sucker for DNA jewelry. I've actually made a different version, using this tutorial. Michael's even had the perfect length beads for the purines and pyrimidines!
Yours look more intricate, though.

Innovative! I'll have to try this.

Great job! Looks very realistic.
I especially like it because my wonderful friend Becca is absolutely obsessed with giraffes and the color green. She loves green so much, our friends nicknamed her favorite shade, sweet-tart green, "Becca green". I definitely have to show this to her!

76  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Re: Help with Pocahontas Costume? on: October 08, 2007 06:52:47 PM
I was Pocahontas last year for an orchestra event. My necklace was made in about 30 seconds from the leftover fabric from John Smith's T-shirt. Here's the picture if you would like to see. My mom started making the dress 3 days before the concert! Good luck with your costume  Smiley
