3  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / ..cataclysm! no resemblance at all ;D on: March 01, 2011 08:02:56 AM
May I present - a tauren feral baby! (who knows how one of these looks, anyway..  Grin )

Why? I've been playing WoW with a really great friend (which I don't know  Tongue ) for years; this weekend we'll meet for the first time and of course I wanted to craft him something.. difficult difficult  Grin he's playing a tauren feral druid and I somehow had the strange idea to sew a chibi-like version of him :p I have to admit that there isn't any resemblance at all, but I hope he'll like it nevertheless lol  Grin  *nervous chuckle*
4  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / office chair - should I keep it or not? attention - picture heavy :> on: February 13, 2011 12:24:58 AM
I have (..had :p) the luck to have one yucky, old office chair and enough cutsey fabric for upholstering..
Armed with loads of different tools I (more or less :p ) destroyed the poor chair

As I had to cut the foam into quite small pieces I decided to paint the "chair" instead of using my fabric

close-up Cheesy this design (well, probably not these colours) has been used in Nrnberg, Germany in the late 19th and early 20th century (actually it's a pattern for whitework Smiley )

I don't know yet whether I'll keep it or not - suggestions?  Embarrassed

8  COOKING / Dessert / mini lemon tarts on: April 08, 2010 03:20:16 AM
Instead of doing my french homework I decided to bake some mini tarts ^^
The filling (perfect for 6 mini tarts) is made out of:
6 tablespoons of curd cheese (that's what wikipedia tells me :p http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quark_(cheese) )
3 tablespoons of sugar
3 egg yolks
the juice of 1/2 lemon
and spices (I used cinnamon, ginger, anise, cloves and nutmeg)
I melted the ingredients in a double boiler, poured them into my tart shells and let them bake for about
15 minutes (180C) - the result is creamy ^.^

9  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / forthehorde-patch on: April 07, 2010 01:49:47 PM
Why not combining WoW and crocheting.. the product is this patch which will probably be sewn on one of my bags  Cheesy
(it's a bit out of shape but I'll fix that Cheesy )
10  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / reconstructed pug-dress on: April 07, 2010 07:56:49 AM
I recently found a (really really small  Angry ) cute t-shirt in my wardrobe and I instantly knew that this could be the perfect easter-present for my goddaughter: we call her pug (can't you see the similarity?  Grin )
I didn't have a pattern and so I'm quite happy that the new little dress fits her!  Cheesy

Have a nice day! Smiley
