Wow. Are you sure that's your first cable project? Because I know mine wasn't that pretty, and had a LOT of mistakes, but yours is so pretty!

That's adorable! I love it!

That's really cool!
I like it.
I just started the Danica scarf, so I can say that it's not really that hard, just confusing to read.

Ah, you gotta love Red Heart. It's itchy and uncomfortable for clothes, but it's a great cheap material to learn with. I've got a huge stash of the stuff that someone gave to me that I've been trying to burn through since December, and that stuff lasts forever!

progress report.  I sat down with my mother one day while we were waiting for a car repair at Wal-mart and I figured out what was wrong with my knit and then (finally) how to purl.  I've finished a couple of scarves and a sweeeet "spa washcloth."   I'm hoping to take a class on sock knitting soon.  It sounds a little complicated, but rewarding.  Do you think it would be okay for a beginning knitter?

Well, you'll never get past beginning knitting if you never try anything new!
Sock knitting was very easy for me. The hardest part was getting u sed to knitting in the round, and now most of my projects are in the round, so it's not that bad. It's definitely not as bad as it looks. Promise.

Wow. That's incredible!
You just gave me a good reason to make my first clothing item other than the scarf/hat/armwarmer stuff I've been making. I may have to go look up a sweater-vest pattern and buy some yarn so I can make myself a Slytherin vest!

Hahaha I JUST started this pattern because yours looked so pretty. Mine probably won't look as pretty, but I can try, right?

Those are really great!
I've been wanting to make those for a while, what do you think of them?

That's SO cute!
I would want to make that for a few different people!

If you can, make each one a matching one, so that you've got two matching pairs!
