2  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Scrapbooking: Completed Projects / A Kayleigh and Adam Scrapbook [IMG heavy] on: March 20, 2007 12:09:38 PM
Scrapbooking is one of my favorite crafts. I've only been doing it for almost a year and I've improved a lot from my frist page.

These are the pages from the scrapbook I made for my boyfriend and I. Althought we've been dating over a year, I only have 9 pages of pictures. He doesn't like taking pictures so it's a battle to get even one, so 9 pages is quite the accomplishment.

There is some journaling and captions on where we were so feel free to read them.

Tell me what you think and how I can improve.

3  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Mates of State, Belle & Sebastian, and Dr. Manhattan on: March 02, 2007 01:52:35 PM
I needed new shirts, but didn't want to spend any money so I created some new stuff from my old band shirts. I had stopped wearing them because they shrunk in the wash, or I just realized that the sleeves fit weird, or it fit funny. Now they're new(er) and awesome.

I added fabric to the sides to enlarge it

Then I added a sash to the side, because who doesn't want a cute sash???

My mates of state became corsetesque

I turned this one into a saucy button-down

I'm really happy with them. I wish it was warm so I could wear my new mates of state shirt.

Comments and critiques please!
4  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Scarf??? on: February 06, 2007 07:20:23 PM
Last month I decided to start working on a scarf. Considering that I was a beginner, it was looking alright. The yarn tangled and snapped, and I'm not sure what to do now.

Do I tie the ends together and keep going? Or is there a different method I should use?
