14  3 Little Monsters in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by SugarySweet on: July 09, 2009 06:59:14 PM
I made these for the Monster Mash Swap.

My partner's favorite colors are black and orange.

The Double Monster. Side 1 & side 2.

 The orange side was inspired by an orange monster on her Wist and the black cat side was inspired by a pair of shoes on her Wist.

She also loves animal print.

Rolly Polly Leopard

The Clumsy Little Monster Girl

She's a ballerina. With only one eye and no arms for balance, not a very good one. She loves her tutu.

That's a super cute package!!

&

Here's a group picture and a link to what I sent to bronzfrog.
She picked up her package from the PO Box last Sunday.

The large orange one is double sided and you can see the other side in the thread.

Note, I removed the other message so I could include the resized pictures and the frame in one post.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
My package was shipped internationally to battenberg who is MIA.  It's been long enough for the package to be delivered so I'm going to post a few pictures now.
I also sent her extras. The Big Box Size Junior Mints, a box of Easy Mac & Cheese and a bag of Milky Way bars. I realized after I shipped, she said she likes 3 Musketeers bars. So I sent the wrong ones. But I hope she likes the other ones anyway.
Here's the frame.
She seems to work with ribbon a lot, so I thought I would use ribbon on the frame.
These are both from downtown Detroit. The building picture is over the door to the Train Station that they film many movies in.
Two parks, 2 views.
The bridge to Belle Isle
I sent 40 prints. You can see all here.
18  Twilight's Alice Cullen Poppet in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by SugarySweet on: June 22, 2009 11:57:24 AM
About a month ago, cookimistress and I decided to do a personal swap.
I made an Alice Cullen Poppet for her. She's taking her to the Twilight Convention this summer.
Here she is.
She sparkles like diamonds too. But it was really hard to get a picture of.
I'm doing a private swap with cookimistress.
I'm making an Alice Cullen Poppet and she made this super amazing scarf!!  Grin
I can't believe how quick she got it done.
For some reason this purple just does not photograph well. It's more of a grape soda color.
Or the darker purple that I see at this very moment over to the right in the Addicted To Rubber Stamps . com ad.  Wink
Closeup. She used tweed for the icing, looks like sprinkles!! Love it!
She made it a perfect length too.
Thanks so much, it's so awesome!
I sent out mlookyloo1's tt today.
Here's what I stitched on her towel.
This tt had a stain on one side of it. I'm not sure what it is or if it was there when I got it or not?
I couldn't get in touch with her before I sent out today so I decided to send her towel back to her and send a new towel forward to be stitched on.  With her first towel, it looks cute with the three designs so I figure she can fix it up and a smaller wall hanging or cut it up into patches.
I had the same Martha Stewart napkins she is using so I sent the same thing in it's place.
Here's the new one with it's first design.
I was not sure what to do and had to ship it today.
