Picked up a birdhouse with a clear back @ the thrift store this morning and added some pics from a cooking magazine that had been randomly sent to me!  Grin

Toadette is cool, I thought she was Sumomo though (a little computer girl from Chobits...)

13  Western Bagsket in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by Jellybean313 on: October 14, 2007 10:55:24 PM
tute from  http://foofanagle.wordpress.com/2007/06/26/bagsket-tutorial/
It's for my mom for christmas (she lives on a boat and is in FL. and hates when all of her family out here in Wyoming and Colorado sends her sea and shell stuff when she really wants western stuff!)...

I have loved the pattern since I first saw it, but thought it was "out of my league" until today I decided I could handle it and here it is!!
The shape is better in person, the fabric I placed inside to hold it's shape for the camera made it look a little wonky, I used the same brown fabric inside as the 'outside' of the pockets and the same red as the 'inside' of the inside pockets...
I plan on getting a black ribbon for the drawstring instead of the shoelace I am using here!!
P.S. the desk really deserves it's own post as I remade an old brown desk to have a beachy feel with maps and jimmy buffett stuff on it, I used a lot of mod podge and resin to make this awesome sewing desk!!

The dragon boats were at the dragon boat festival @ Sloans Lake in Denver, the faces is a sculpture outside of the wizard's chest (an awesome toy/ magic/ game store) in Cherry Creek.  I looked at the rest of them and I noticed my fingers are in quite a few of them!  Oh well, that's why we all switched to digital right??  Anyway, here is the frame I sent Jesa...

16  Picture Frame for Disposable Camera Swap!! in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by Jellybean313 on: August 23, 2007 09:10:42 PM
I made this for the disposable camera swap, my partner has recieved and so I couldn't wait to share this...
She still gets the joy of posting all the random pictures I took!!
Before ($0.99 at arc...)

After much fun with paint and mod podge and envirotex lite pour on awesome stuff (the current winner in the most awesome stuff in the universe catagory!!)

I know the pics don't do it justice, the random lines you see around the frame are bits of fabric left in my cutting mat from a purse I was making at the same time (that I finished in enough time to give to the recipient but not in enough time to photograph...)

19  Patchwork Purse in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by Jellybean313 on: July 01, 2007 02:51:54 PM
I made this using the tutorial provided by GoodWithHerHands.  I used a fun red fabric I found at the thrift store for super cheap and some old jeans.  I have only recently become friends with my sewing machine and I love how easy this was to make! Grin
