how do you package your goods?

here are some recent pics of how i am packaging

my kitty, "cha cha" - isn't so into food that isn't in niblit form - she tears open bags of human food and never eats anything -
she thinks thingy is cute and she has had a bunch of nice things to say about him - she said his little heart is so snazzy - she wishes she had that much snazz!

ok - enameling.... first off the supplies are spendy (expensive) you have to have
-flat pieces of copper
- crushed enameling glass powder
- enameling shreads and pieces
- enaming contact glue
-enameling kiln
-mini sifters
-mini tweezers
-gloves

you take the clean piece of copper and you brush the glue thinnly on the copper
you then sift the crushed glass on top
you bake in the kiln 5-10 min (i forget - has been awhile - it is a set time though for the piece to get hot enough)
then you carefully take the piece out and let it cool for about 5 min - then dip it in water and dry it off
then you take your glue and apply it again over the same layer you just baked and place your bits and pieces put it back in the kiln and repeat the process - when you are through - you have enameled!

they are way better tutorials - i used to do this at a art center i spent time at i have been looking forward to buying my own materials for the last year - it is my next purchase after my sewing machine (i am finally getting my machine in march!) so i can give you a better tutorial then ---- as for now ----

here is my quick sketch ---- I say cheap metal buckets spray painted black --- with a bandana lining the inside - take floral foam and place it in the bottom cute up either foam or styrafoam into chunks or nuggets and spray paint them gold then stick them with thin dowels or shish-k-bob skewers whatever's cheapest and and stick them in the bottom foam fill out the rest of the bucket with golden daisies and black-eyed susans and use denim scraps or bandana scrap as a table runner of dressing underneath - cheap and gold-rush chic!

I had a great time with those that came out - I know at least 2 are members of this board so i wanted to thank both of you kate and melissa and i can't wait for the next time --- I am pondering the 18th or 25th (the 25th is Ash Wed - do you think that will effect anyone?). PS - melissa, i think that your driverside tail-light maybe out - i noticed it as you were exiting 400 - but then again i could just be jealous of your beautiful clean car and imagining it all!
