This Halloween will by my baby's first Halloween and I am so excited!  I've picked out her outfit for pictures, haven't quite decided on a costume (I will most likely be making it) but decided to make her a headband to go with the picture outfit!


After I made this one I have decided that I will be making LOADS more!

I was invited to have a table at my University's Cardinal Market Place in August, and all I have been making recently is things for the little members of the household.  I decided to crochet some little hats, and used my little one as a model.



They're really simple double crochet hats and fit her well, but have quite a bit of stretch to them.
What do you guys think?

A friend of mine commissioned me to make her a onesie quilt, using some of her and her husband's favorite onesies.



The quilt consists of 63 squares, 4 of which are machine quilted to the size of the others, and the center is the embroidered onesie little one came home in.
I had a LOT of fun making this and furthered my desire to make one for my little girl.

A friend of mine is having a little boy, and being the crafty mama that I am (plus loving all the cute little things I can make) I whipped this up for him and his lady.


(I was told their theme was blue and green owls. :3)

A friend of mine asked me to make her a turtle themed newborn photo prop set, and after being shown a picture of what she would like, this is what I came up with!

So, it seems there's something in the water and everyone is having babies!  Including several friends of mine!  I still have a TON of newborn diapers laying around, and decided to make diaper cakes for them!  This is my first, for a friend of mine having a little girl.



The base is made from a diaper box, covered in tissue paper saved from my baby shower.  The diaper cake holds one pacifier and pacifier clip, an eight ounce bottle (hidden in the middle of the cake, covered by the leopard print box), three bibs, baby wash, baby shampoo, baby powder, baby lotion and diaper rash creme.

After finding my stamp collection, I got the urge to create more.  This drawing will be used to create a new stamp.

While looking for craft supplies in my closet, I found my collection!  I completely forgot I had these! LOL



All of these are no bigger than 2 inches.

A little over a month ago, I gave birth to my daughter and to celebrate her first Easter, I thought I would crochet her an bunny hat.  I'm so excited to have her wear it!

Here is my latest creation: A Harry Potter amigurumi.
He's not quite finished as I still have to sew his robe, but I was just too excited not to share!
