Thanks Urban Threads for the freebie. I embroidered shirts for the whole family. My hubby chose white, son picked red, daughter picked orange and I picked lime green of course. We are wearing them tomorrow for Pi Day.
Fabric + measuring tape = Snappy bag. This bag is a snap to get into. Snap snap snap... Oh snap I made a bag!!! Okay, enough sillyness. I made this bag for some odd reason and I luv it so much. I keep my unmentionables in it in my work bag. I used a measuring tape to make it snappy. Hope you like it.
My daughter told me a week before the play I "needed" to make her costume as she is a "Pick a Little Lady". I thought about going to GoodWill and putting something together but the crafter in my said I can do this. lol I found a great Simplicity pattern and spent too much on fabric but it was so worth the finished product. I did not add a couple parts to the dress like the ruffle sleeve as I ran out of time but I think it was fine without it. I had the hardest time understanding how to make the bodice and lining but with the wonderful internet I was able to get it made. We also lucked out and found the perfect boots at GoodWill to match the era. Thanks for looking.
I have been wanting to stitch out Alice for some time now and finally made her. I love how this stitches out so nicely and no changing the threads or jump stitches. I added a little mushroom for fun too.
This in the hoop design is one of my top favorites I have and is so quick and easy. It's from Five Star Fonts. I experimented and made some with corduroy this time and I love how they came out. I am giving some as gifts to family and my secret santa from Bunco. Thanks for looking.
I took a pmc class yesterday and made some fun pendants. I can't believe this stuff starts out as clay and turns into fine silver. I made some more pieces but they are at the shop where I took the class. I can't wait to get some more clay and play. Thanks for looking.
The book was inspiration from a pmc book I bought.
I love this technique, it's so easy and fun. I took a class yesterday and this is what I made. I need to practice some more but was in a hurry to make this bracelet that I didn't make it perfect but I sorta like that it's a little wonky. I made every part of it from the fine silver wire. I even made the jumprings and head pins. I just didn't make the beads. I also had to switch the clasp as I lost the original one I made so I used the copper one we practiced with until I make a new one. Thanks for looking.
