11  the infamous life aquatic hat! in Knitting: Completed Projects by fenifer on: April 30, 2008 04:17:13 PM
i finally got around to finishing the aquatic hat for the man. so here it is...

 i used lion brand wool-ease in ranch red, and size 8 circular needles. wasnt hard, just time consuming w/ the k1p1 ribbing. thanks for lookin!

hey! i made my first armwarmer thingies!

the pattern is from http://punkrockpatterns.blogspot.com/2006/12/easy-wristwarmers.html
i used some handspun stuff my friend gave to me and some good ol acrylic. i didnt really care too much for the handspun stuff, so i am giving them back to my friend that gave it to me! thanks for looking! Grin

okay, i finally got around to making this again, and it actually fits me!
i used malabrigo, 2 hanks of perla and size 9 needle. i made it waist length, but i do plan to make more that will be the regular length.



i loves it, and will be wearing it frequently.thanks jules for the pattern!!

so, i've been a little bad about posting when i got some goodies done, so here is a pile of stuff i've been working on...
the diamond scarf from twinkle knits in lion brand thick and quick fig

a scarf made out of some handspun and caron simply soft for a friend

one hour beret

one day beret

and there ya go, there will be more soon!!

i just wanted to show what the monkey that boomboom gave looks like after a few days...

his leg is already torn, and one of his eyes are going fast! but its still in the rotation of the toys she loves!!!

i got my package out of the leasing office hostage situation this morning!! so much awesome stuff!! WARNING: LOTS OF CUTE PICTURES!!!

i made this scarf using my mind...i didnt use a pattern. thats what i'm trying to say.
i made it w/ lion brand wool ease thick and quick w/ 13 us needles. i really like it, its going to a dear friend up in NY, cause its colder up there than it is down here in the south.

i finally made mine!! i started last night after dinner, and then finished it tonight. talk about fast!! the only thing i really dont likeis how my bind off part is way too tight. i did the full 120 stitches the yarn is freedom spirit 100% wool,and i used 8's us circulars and it came out just right for my noggin. but i have to admit, i did make one w/ 86 stitches before, and it was wayyy too small. i think i knit really really tight, being as that everything i have made as been way way way too small. alright, on with a bunch of pics.




i will be making more of these. everyone at work wants one, i did get some paton's sws yarn, it was on sale at michaels, and i love working with that stuff, so maybe i will make some more with that.
everyone's calorimetry looks amazing by the way!
