i love the cardinal!

Gatsby!!! LOVE the chihuahua. It reminds me of a group I was a part of on myspace called "obey the chihuahua!" it fits perfectly in my house, as all my chihuahuas are the rulers of the place. thanks so much!!
Mego! I love the lion as well! so cute! I wanted to dress on of the pups up as a lion, then i thought about dressing them up as the 3 amigos. but i haven't had a chance to find tiny sombreros.

I finished Mamaphunks towel this evening! Hers is about anthropologie inspired. I found a drawing of Pennsylvania dutch artwork in a book that my grandmother gave me way back when. she got it when she was in her 40s-50s and she is 82 now! it doesn't have a cover on it, so I don't know too much about the book. but i thought it fit perfectly on this towel. I added a few pieces on it my self that i thought made it more anthropoligie-esque!!

doo_leroux- very awesome! love it!

i just finished gatsbygirl's pillow case.
her theme was about the X's 4th of July song, and this is what I imagined everytime I read the lyrics and listened to the song.

and here is the whole pillow case:

i just kept thinking of the stairs, and summertime sunsets, oh and that little piece sitting on the bottom step- thats an ashtray with a cigarette sitting in it... hope you like gatsbygirl!!

my grandmother is turning 80 june 27th, and we are throwing her a surprise birthday party, and since i'm doing the invitations, and other stuff,i decided to go ahead and make the present, its made out of malabrigo silky lace, arlene's purple (from the needle nook) i used only 1 skien, and i put a pearl button on the end, so it can be buttoned up, pearl because her name is Sadie Pearl. hope you guys like...
