11  Gullies.. my wierd amigurumi birds *added 2 more on pg 2* in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by Glee on: May 05, 2007 09:40:55 PM
yay!! I've been wanting to post these all week but I couldn't think of a name for them hehe! I call them "gullies" -  Indirectly related to sea gulls, these gulls dwell in swamps. They enjoy wading in murky water and eating bugs. tehe!

They kinda have a wierd lil bunny tail. I didn't want them to have big tail feathers. Just a little fluff!  Grin

13  Creative fixes for ripped jeans? in Clothing: Discussion and Questions by Glee on: May 03, 2007 05:57:04 PM
I have several pairs of ripped jeans that I would like to fix. There are some little rips on the front of the legs on some. The biggest problem is that 3 pairs have a big rip down the butt. I have no idea how this happened lol! I got them from shady Ebay sellers trying to pass them off as "destroyed". But I really like the jeans otherwise and would like to fix them somehow creatively. Nothing childish or obnoxious, I don't want to just put a big ugly patch there or anything. In other words, I don't want it to be obvious that they have been mended. I just want to do something cool looking. And I'm all for destroying them further, I just won't wear pants with a giant rip across the butt hehe!

Here's some pictures of the damage:

Any ideas? please help!  Cheesy

16  Matching up stripes in rounds? in Crochet: Discussion and Questions by Glee on: March 05, 2007 10:30:21 PM
I'm trying to make stripes while working in rounds and I'm wanting them to match up. I was trying to join them but it still looks all screwed up. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? Or point me towards a tutorial that will show me how to do it right?  Embarrassed

17  Cherry PJ shorts in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by Glee on: February 25, 2007 02:50:12 PM

I just finished these Smiley I made the pattern by tracing a pair of yoga pants. They're jersey fabric, made on a serger. I was originally gonna put ruching on the outsides of the legs with a bow at the bottom but I didn't know if that would make them uncomfortable to sleep in so I didn't. I'm also putting a little red ribbon bow on the front center of the waistband but I forgot to do it before I took the pic  Sad
