3  To be colorful or not... in CHALLENGE 72 ENTRIES by spunkybubbles on: March 07, 2012 03:32:08 PM
I had an idea to make a rainbow petal skirt a few months ago but never got around to it until this challenge. I decided to make a reversible skirt that I could change in the middle of an evening out to give 2 looks! I came up with the pattern by myself out of newspaper. It has a thick black elastic for a waist band on the non color side and a thick white elastic on the color side. I hope you enjoy!

Here is the skirt side by side!

And here are some just for fun photos!

Thanks for taking a look!

I apologize for posting pictures so late! But tattooedcrafter sent me an amazing package!

The necklace is my favorite! There is also a matching anklet, a button cuff bracelet and a little button top hat! I could not take the necklace off the first day I got it!

6  Craft Room Makeover! *IMAGE heavy* in Interior Decorating: Completed Projects by spunkybubbles on: September 12, 2010 03:02:21 PM
I moved in with my boyfriend over a year ago and before I moved in he said I could have one of the extra bedrooms for a craft room! He gave me the freedom to do whatever I wanted to the room. I have finally got it to where I am happy with it. I will probably keep adding to it as the years go by but I wanted to share it with you guys! So with further ado, I offer you my craft space!

The view as you walk in!

My friend is getting ready to have a baby so I decided to try making a quilt! His name is Faolin Grey and his middle name is after a friend named Grey who is really into wolves. I used my Cricut to cut out the wolf appliqus.  I made this in just a couple of hours and is quite proud of it.

8  Belly dance, fairy, and pirate wear! in Costumes: Completed Projects by spunkybubbles on: May 20, 2010 02:42:08 PM
I am involved with Dagorhir www.dagorhir.com and well you have to wear garb. This year I am going to a week long camping trip called Ragnark and my life for the past 2 months has been making garb for myself and others. Here are a few of my outfits. I am about to start of fairy wings because my character is a belly dancing fairy named Sparkles!

Here are some of my outfits.

My boyfriend actually made the top and I made the wrap pants and the hip belt.

I made the top and the skirt, my mom gave me the lacey top underneath, and my bf and I made the belt. He does some awesome leather work!

I made the top out of a fitted sheet that we had including the elastic and the skirt was made out of a flat sheet and purchased the waist cincher.

I made the dread falls, the choli top and hipbelt. The rest I had.

This outfit was made completely out of a flat sheet and curtains that I got at the goodwill for like 16 bucks!

C&C welcome and appreciated!
Last but not

9  Dread Falls! in Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects by spunkybubbles on: May 08, 2010 06:29:49 AM
I finally made some dread falls! I have been wanting some for quite a while and I looked around at buying some but the prices were too high for me so I decided to make them! The final cost was 16 bucks and a lot of time and bleeding pointer finger!

I first needle felted the dreads into double ended dreads and then wet felted them. They are attached to a hair elastic and I wrapped tulle around where they attach.

Here are some photos!

These are photos of my faery belly dancing character for Dagohir. I also made the choli top and hip belt.

C&C welcome and appreciated!

I first want to say that all the cards are so amazing. Lots of talent in this group! I have received my cards from raerae and I love them!

She went with my 1920s theme and wrote me a wonderful letter about the women of the 20s. She really did her homework and research for this!

Then with the tattoo theme! I have a tattoo on my wrist that is a needle and thread sewn into my skin so I thought that card was awesome!

Then she chose my vampire theme and I don't know how she knew but Juno is one of my favorite movies and the last card is from one of my favorite songs off the soundtrack!

Thanks raerae!
