6  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Cute Little Capris + Vintage Pillowcase (to a bad apron)= Great Skirt and Top on: February 24, 2005 05:29:59 PM
For a kid, I mean.  My daughter is a skinny little thing, and these 18m capris were too wide until now that she's 4!

I love that fan applique!  I bought 2 at Wal Mart a long time ago.  I made a bag out of the same red corduroy and the same applique.  They also had one with a little asian shirt - very cute!  I taught myself to crochet using a booklet I bought in line at the market.  I noticed that there are a lot of tutorials on line for this, though.  It wasn't too hard, and lIon brand yarn web site has a lot of cute ideas that are easy.

Thanks, everyone!  Here is another outfit I made for her.  I have been really working these jeans to skirts.  This one is made from some cute capris that had applique flowers and ruffled hems.  The bottom of the skirt and the tops trim (and the future straps) came from a vintage pillowcase that had become an apron, unsuccessfully.

:DVery cute!  Is the trim just rows of trim put together, or os it one giant trim?  It's very cute and has given me ideas.  Hmmmmmmm......
