To transfer beads from one string to another....Tie one of the two strings (usually the thinner one) around the other, then just slide them on down. The one that is going to get the beads has to be thin enough that a double thickness of it plus one of the other string can still go through the holes in the beads. (Once you see it, it should be pretty obvious)
I use this to transfer the already strung hanks of beads onto cotton for beaded knitting.
I really love my little knitted beaded fish!! You really need to feel them -- they are great "worry stones" to keep in a pocket during meetings.
Unfortunately, they take HOURS and HOURS to make. They are done on 00000 and 0000 needles!
