21  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Valentine's Day / Re: Smart and hip valentines cards on: January 15, 2010 12:35:22 PM
I really like them, very refreshing and fun Smiley
22  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Crafty Business Discussion / Re: Do you think people would buy a blythe doll house? on: October 25, 2007 09:38:53 AM
Do you mean full sized 12 inch Blythes or Petite's at 5 inches? A full sized Blythe house is huge, as it's 1/6th scale. However a Petite can happy fit in a 1/12th scale  house, the most commonly collected and sold scale of dollhouse.

I have my plans and pattern pieces all drawn up for my 12 inch girl's house. It would be very expensive to ship such houses as they're simply so big.

He's beautiful and very much in keeping with the film. Well done you!

25  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Discussion and Questions / Re: Anybody sew for Tyler Wentworth? on: October 05, 2007 03:47:04 PM
I have several Blythes, but also Momoko, Tiny Betsy McCall and Tiny Kitty Collier dolls. I used to collect Barbie for years, but I eventually became disenchanted with her unrealistic proportions and the way in which the style of the mainline dolls went.

I will one day purchase a 70 cm BJD doll, when I I'm rich. I willllllll......

The colours are lovely! Good job Smiley
27  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: Origami Bracelet on: September 14, 2007 08:27:25 AM
I've got about twenty of these in a box here, waiting to be varnished. I want to try using different printed papers for scrapbooking, as well as newspaper and magazines, book pages, anime and comics.. anything that looks interesting Smiley

Where do you get your origami papers?

So pretty! I specially like the last one. Reminds me a bit of the cover on Mika's album.
29  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Noro scarf, oh why can't I have you?? on: September 10, 2007 12:15:11 PM
It's very pretty Smiley I fancy doing a K2 P2 rib in two different colours, so a different colour flashes between the ribs on each side. Two different colour ways of Noro!

I really want to make myself a jacket in Noro, but it's sooooooo expensive. I find the colours are what attracts me the most to the yarn. I definitely think you should ask for yarn for Christmas though Smiley
30  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Blythes and Pullips Swap Round 5 Gallery on: September 10, 2007 07:49:37 AM
Oh. My. Gawd!!! That's the cutest thing I've ever seen! I'm giddy with excitement  that you like them so much.

I'm just finishing the front button band and then the last hoodie will be ready to send. I want to make some hoodies with intarsia designs on the back, such has Hello Kitty faces, initials, hearts, stars, fruit and anything else I can think of.

I'm going to crack on and write up all the patterns I've come up with for Blythe over the years and get them on my blog. I'm just scared of starting the blog in the first place :/

Thank you for such a cute thank you though!
