i am following a pattern for a chevron stripe/zig zag pattern. and i'm wondering if it stops curling/buckling a bit and would lay straight without having to straighten it myself? also for whatever reason its not measuring the size its supposed to be in width. any ideas?

i'm trying my hardest to get this giant granny square afghan up and going. i've torn it out so many times because i wasn't happy with the way it looked. and i'm just unsure of what to do next. i have good tension, i turn every row so it doesn't twist. but its still not completely square. any ideas?

i am trying to do a hexagon stocking. and every pattern i do i will get to the second or third row and it isn't looking like a hexagon anymore or it curls up and i can't get any of them to work. is there something i'm doing wrong?

i made a bunch of squares alll different sizes and now putting them together like a puzzle to make a blanket. but i wanted to crochet them together but i don't really know how to go about doing that. could anyone explain it to me? i'm concerned cause of the gaps since they are all different sizes and such.

i'm not all that experienced in making hats at all. but i've noticed that when i am making them it looks really messy in the back like when you do a slip stich and chain and do another stitch kind of thing. i was wondering if there was a way to make it look not so messy and really nice thanks for your help.
