1  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / zig zag blanket help on: September 10, 2014 03:29:37 PM
i am following a pattern for a chevron stripe/zig zag pattern. and i'm wondering if it stops curling/buckling a bit and would lay straight without having to straighten it myself? also for whatever reason its not measuring the size its supposed to be in width. any ideas?
2  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Re: giant granny afghan help on: August 31, 2013 09:13:34 AM
i've noticed that most giant granny square blankets are twisted/ not straight. is there anyway you think to acheive the straightness without blocking? i have the same number of stitches  on all sides. i just feel like it looks dumb.
3  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / giant granny afghan help on: August 30, 2013 11:35:47 PM
i'm trying my hardest to get this giant granny square afghan up and going. i've torn it out so many times because i wasn't happy with the way it looked. and i'm just unsure of what to do next. i have good tension, i turn every row so it doesn't twist. but its still not completely square. any ideas?
