So what happens when you take a guy built like a linebacker with tattoos and a 5'10" girl with stretched earlobes and put them in costume?

Yup. It was good times, but the belly got in the way alot.

I made the preggo belly by cutting a rubber ball in half, stuffing it with polyfil then sewing it to the bottom half of a tshirt that I cut to wear as a belt. Then I had a tight tank top on over top to hold it to my body better, then I bought the tshirt and sewed it to fit better. The orange shoelaces were just ribbon that I wrapped the ends of with tape. I had a skirt too for over my jeans but alas, I had left it at home.

For Mike's Paulie Bleeker costume we cut up his yellow swim shorts, we got the tshirt on clearance, the head band was from when he was helping his band at Warped Tour, his wristbands were from 5 below and have unicorns and hearts on the reverse. He's also wearing his dad's old socks and cheap sneakers, that are size 15, which is a size too big, but he dealt. He also had tic tacs but we ate them all. Yum.

Alot of my friends thought I was actually pregnant, and more annoyingly alot of drunk annoying skanky girls thought I was pregnant too and were like shrieking about it. Oy vey. "You shouldn't be PARTYING if you're PREGNANT! *giggle giggle collapse*"

If I get into better shape I was to do a sexier costume, just cause I never have and a girl should have license to do a sexy costume at least once. I was thinking belly dancer or something, not like sexy-"insert everyday thing".

My boyfriend(staplegunned) has been hankering to carve a pumpkin for awhile now, so a couple weeks ago we went to the orchard and bought two big pumpkins. We got stencils online from a site we have a membership at and here are the results!!!

Here's one photo of my boyfriend and I at a party the other day. It isn't very clear, but there'll be more later.

I figured out the preggo belly finally. I bought a big bouncy ball from Kmart, cut it in half, stuffed it with polyfil and then cut the bottom off a tshirt, like a thick belt and sewed the edges of the ball to it, then slipped it over my head, put a tight tank top on over it to make it close to my body more and yep. Good times.

I found the striped shirt at Old Navy on Clearance. It's an XXL that I sewed to fit the costume. The skirt was a dress that I just cut and hemmed and then used a safety pin to close it. The jeans and hoodie are my own. I also had a bottle of sunny D....with vodka. Mike's costume is a pair of swim trunks that he cut short (and his boxers), he had the headband from when he was at Warped Tour with his friend's band. The wristbands were from 5 Below, they have unicorns and hearts on the reverse side. The shirt we got from Hot Topic on Clearance. The shoes he got at walmart. He wears a 14, but the shoes were a 15. He's got his dad's socks on and a thing of tic tacs in his head band. Whoo!

So when I got home from school I was geocaching, and waiting to get hte mail because the usps site said my package was coming today. I was literally shrieking while I was opening it. Look at all the goodies!!!

Okay, I made this awhile ago but here goes: so I bought red and white gingham fabric and red with white polka dot fabric at Joann's. My boyfriend's band was playing two shows in two days near me and one of them was a "punk rock prom". It wasn't really a prom, it was just an excuse for kids to dress up. I used to hear about this show when I was in high school but never went. So I made a skirt real fast and wore it with a zipper up corsetty thing on top and took photos of Mike's band the whole time. Whoot!

I didn't like the length and It needed more awesomeness.

So I chopped a few inches off the bottom and added the red fabric with white polka dots and made it more ruffly in the back. The band is from a dark red tshirt that was huuuuge.

It's still a little big, needs to grip on my hips better but I can fix that later. People liked it and I do too.

Inspired by pinkypurple I decided to fix this shirt. My boyfriend's band got tshirts done and I got one, but it fit weird, so I gave it some life!

So I like to make little outfits to wear for my boyfriend. He gets a kick out of it, I feel good about myself and my sewing machine gets work. Everybody's happy. My first outfit I haven't posted yet, but this is my second. It started as: PANTS. Pajama pants that were awkwardly fitted. So I cut them up and made little short shorts and a little bikini top. I do not have a bikini body under any circumstances except for in front of my boyfriend, but after many many photos I have got a few I am willing to post. Because I <3 craftster. Le sigh. Now on to the photos. Excuse the stomach and skin.

PS The straps were a little too long so I tied them together behind my neck with a ribbon, which i'm kind of digging now. Oh and the vertical seams were all there already I just brought them in more.
