Im planning to stencil a picture of Jimi Hendrix onto a T-shirt for my boyfriend.

but I think it is not detailed enough. Maybe it is better to use this photo?

I'm doing this for the first time.

Now, which colour should the t-shirt have?

I was thinking I kind of like a black t-shirt with an orange/brown face like this

but I also want the hair, so maybe I could paint the outlines in th same colour?

I also have another picture

Is that better? I like the colourfull background but I don't think a multicoloured t-shirt would be what my boyfriend wants.
