I made another one. This was supposed to be for my secret pal, but I'm not sure if I'll send it. I HATE how wonky it is. I have a really hard time getting a straight seam down the sides, and everything just ends up crooked.  practice makes perfect, I guess.

for my third zipper, i don't think it's half bad...and i had fun making it! now it's off to a friend who loves doxies.

This was the first top I've ever sewn, and it was really easy! I know lots of other craftster folks have done this pattern, but it's Built by Wendy/ Simplicity 3835, and I used the pink astral skull print cotton by Alexander Henry. I think it came out pretty cute!

Hi there! i finished this baby sweater up awhile ago, but i forgot to post it here. this is Kate Gilbert's baby peapod sweater from Interweave Knits. (the pattern's available online at their website.) it was so much fun to knit and i think it came out darling, despite the crappy pic.

I used knitpicks shine sport in green apple. it was wonderful to knit with, it's a natural fiber (100% cotton) and machine washable, so i thought it would be perfect for baby gear.

i had so much fun doing this swap! and ironically, i just had my apartment warming party, and my friends got me all fruit and veggie themed kitchen stuff! everything goes great with my carrot potholders from myloveasdeep! (and yes, the potholder fits fine! i guess i have little hands. ) 

i seriously ADORE everything i got from shannon! she is a crafty genius!

here we have an adorable purse featuring handknit peas (which i accidentally didn't get in the picture! oops!), eggplant, and a carrot, felted potholders (so awesome, as i just moved and am decorating my new kitchen with greens!), a little crocheted berry friend, a sweet peach pin, a strawberry hair pin, and my absolute favorite, crocheted cherry earrings.

i wore them today!

everyone's booties are so adorable! i especially love the pink and white. 

i made a pair for my mom's coworker's grandson in bernat cottontots, held double:

the buttons are little blue teddy bears.

i knit a pair for my 2 yo cousin's christmas present last year. he loves them and especially likes to "bite" people with them. here's a horrible picture of them:

they're cuter in real life, i swear! 

they we're super easy to make, but make sure you get the errata on the mouth instructions or you'll be confused. if you've made socks, you can definitely handle these.
