Wow - that is quite the ambitious storyboard! I think it's a great idea to make sure each new item you sew coordinates with at least 2-3 others, that way you won't have "orphan" garments if you end up losing steam or changing directions.
I totally agree. I'm mostly sewing my 'storyboard' for work clothes. I just finished the skirt buttterick 4859 and it is super cute. I wore it to work today and my goal was to see if I got any compliments on it but since I am such a blabbermouth I kept asking "Do you like my skirt?" and when they said it was nice or whatever I would blurt out "I MADE IT MYSELF!" Anyway, the jacket (mc5395 short sleeves) comes tomorrow and friday and the shirt (b4987) soon after. I have discovered that it is so much more satisfying to sew something for yourself and brag about it then it is to say, "I went shopping yesterday I bought x y and z." It was a new sort of high and I love it. I'm addicted.













boo, but on a happy note, I get more clothes!
