So this new years I went to visit creepyhugger who is of course my sister.  While there she took me to a yarn store where I bought a kit for a scarf.  I mention this because she helped me choose the lovely colors I eventually bought:

Both my cats are such sweeties that they don't bite or scratch me but I somehow doubt they'd let me put horns on them.  They are adorable horns.  Maybe someday I'll put down my knitting needles and take up crochet.

I was going to ask if that was a angry blue lemon... then I read your post.  Teal lime.  Too funny.  But an adorable basket of fruit none the less.  I personally am a fan of the lime and the apple.  Angry fruit make me giggle.

I love this pattern. I knit my kitty, too: here's my Kismet.

I love knitted Kismet.  And I love this pattern also.  I just know that when I get me a third cat I'll be knitting her up too.

No face, no i-cord... but huge floppy ears that I just love to death.  I'm undecided on the face, though.  I have a cat hat I bought years ago with eyes on it and I always fold the brim up to hide the eyes.  But can this truely be a totoro hat without the face?  Such questions boggle.

BTW figure 8 cast on kicked my butt.  I had the hardest time getting the first row stitches tight enough.  The big floppy ears were totally worth it, though.

First I will buy a tea pot, then I will knit a cosy for it, then I will brew me up a pot of green and drink.
